Re: stock sleeve b-series turbo setups
You've been told a couple times, but I guess you have to be told again. Read the ******* thread title. Stock sleeve b-series turbo setups. We all know what GE sleeves are. We aren't stupid. We also all know how to read thread titles, unlike you.
I dunno about "Present". Precision's **** customer service and reliability issues (because "oil contaminants" is a GREAT way to avoid paying out a warranty claim...) is starting to kick them in the ***.

I was looking at multiple sales markets and their engine platforms. They sell a TON more than you think.

engine specs: stock bore gsr with srp 149217? i think pistons, eagle rods, Ls crank. stock 1st gen b16 head with RLZ springs/ret, s2 p1 cams, victor x w omni 70mmtb
transmission/clutch specs: gsr trans w all new bearings, synchrotech synchros, new sliders and synchro springs, CC stage 5 used when i got it, and a richmond spool
turbo setup: custom made by me forward facing manifold, precision 6776hps turbo w damaged exhaust wheel, precision750 fmic, 3" chargepipes, id 1000cc inj
what shell its in: 95 gsr, roof swap to RS
what fuel tuned on: q16
size slicks:24.5x9 m/t
best time:10.31@144mph
max whp:618@24psi
how long did it last: spit a wrist pin clip out and gouged the cylinder and tore up the piston, threw 1 new piston in and its still going but has just been a track car and has about 25-30 passes on it
weight:2435lbs w driver
the car now has a billet 6262, e85 and an obx lsd, made 593whp@24psi and maxed out the injectors. I also exploded the obx lsd the first launch on it and didnt get a pass on the e85 yet. i have a Mfactory lsd going in, ID2000s and doing a dual intank walbro400 setup. i will try to update if i remember to once i get a pass on the 1000s and on the 2000s. hoping for that 9 sec pass after the next dyno tuning session

Re: stock sleeve b-series turbo setups
I think it maybe the restrictive CXracing top mount manifold that cost me £180 and maybe the standard inlet. Also the dyno I went on is very accurate so no doubt its more like 450whp which is over 500bhp and turbo maxs out at 570bhp

Re: stock sleeve b-series turbo setups
Either way, 32psi is just blowing hot air at that point. The Top mount manifold has nothing to do with an exhaust leak calling for 32psi of boost pressure.
Time to come up with another reason, because you're not making any reasonable sense.

Re: stock sleeve b-series turbo setups
No. I doubt that. and the turbo maxes out at 455whp. we don't count break horsepower on this forum. bhp to whp is a reduction of approximately 15%.

Re: stock sleeve b-series turbo setups
engine specs: B16a2 completely stock
transmission/clutch specs: Competition stage 5/ fidanza 8lb
turbo setup: SC61 with .63 a/r
what shell its in: EJ7
what fuel tuned on:93
size slicks: n/a
best time: n/a
max whp: 290+
how long did it last: Still going strong
what shell was it in:97 HX
weight: Guessing 2400 w/o me 190
I'm guessing it has more power left, but I feel like it may have been sandbagged due to fuel cut or not revving to 8k. I put 2500 miles on it so far and have plans for ARP headstuds, and some cooling mods soon.
next spring I'll be caught up on my list and have it retuned by CCC racing.

Re: stock sleeve b-series turbo setups
From my build thread: https://honda-tech.com/appearance-bu...build-3245893/ (a little out of date)
Block:
- B16A2 81.5mm stock sleeves
- B16A2 stock crank
- SRP custom wrist pin location & low-height 9:1 pistons (got them used)
- LS/B20 H-beam rods with ARP 2000 bolts
- Block guard
Head:
- Stock ports B16A2 head
- Stock OBD1 B16A3 intake manifold
- Stock B16A2 throttle body
- Stock B16A2 camshafts
- Super Tech valve springs
- Brian Crower steel retainers
- ARP head studs
Turbo Kit:
- Garrett T3/T04E 60 Trim Stage 3
- Blox/EMUSA cast iron manifold
- 2.5" down-pipe to 3" exhaust
- Old school Drag FMIC (small 2" inlet/2.25" outlet)
- 2.5" IC piping
- 38mm TiAL WG
- Blox MBC
Tuned on Crome - 16 PSI - 91 octane
275 WHP & 200 WTrq
Head gasket started to leak, allowing exhaust combustion into the coolant system, so new parts are going on/in for a new re-tune.
- Edelbrock Performer-X intake manifold
- Edelbrock 65mm throttle body
- 95-99 Spec ITR cams
- FMIC with 2.5" inlet/outlet to match the 2.5" IC piping
- Mishimoto low-temperature fan switch and thermostat
- Spoolin' Performance ram horn manifold, 3" down pipe, and open dump tube

Re: stock sleeve b-series turbo setups
Yes'ir! Pistons were custom made (totally unaware of when I purchased them used here in the market section). I had the pistons on Eagle B16 rods, installed them into the block only find them sitting ~ 3mm below the deck height at TDC. Did some measurements and figured LS/B20 length rods would work, and they did
