Would it be wise to get only 2? or invest in 4 drag radials, so then i can rotate when they start to wear???

I run 4 all around on my daily driver. 225/45R17 25" tall tire
This year I'll be running the same out the back, but up front will be 235/60R15 M&H bias plys, 25.4" tall tire. 15's up front, 17's in the rear lol.
If you're only ever going to use them at the track, then just get two and mount them on the lightest wheels you can find

LOL @ people suggesting running FOUR drag radials on a FWD Honda.
Here's a thought...run drag radials up front, and cheap all-season's in the rear.
When the drag radials wear out...REPLACE THEM with new drag radials!
They only last 3-5k miles anyways, why waste ~$250-300 on a pair by throwing them on the back to wear out with no real "usage" out of them?

I bought a cheap set of rota 15x7's for my DR. Put the radials up front and just ran some regular tires in the rear. I got a set of four so I at least had matching rims when I used them.

They last ALOT longer then that when on the rears. I drove them for about 7000 miles and the rears were still brand new. The frotns on the otherhand had about 15% left

2 for sure, I dont understand why you would want 4 in any situation with only 2 powered wheels needing them... drag radials wear far too quickly to be putting them all way around (even in back) when only needed up front. Put a normal tire on the back, DR's in front. Unless your just itching to blow twice as much money on tires than you need to.

Re: (jewjew bean)
i don't know about everyone else, but i ran 4 on my last car. 98 coupe with an ls motor / gsr tranny. i loved the setup. i ran 2 for like a week, but i hated the way the car turned. so i put the other 2 i bought as back-ups on the rear. it was a totally different car! after about 4000 miles, i swapped front to rear and went another 4000 miles. it wasn't my dd, but i did drive it every night. if your strapped for cash, just get 2. if you can swing 4, why not?

this DA looks awesome but as far as 4 drag radials on a DD i think they would wear down too quickly. i dont have the $$ for that. if you have a 400whp DD and need some drag radials up front for tractions issues then thats cool but all 4 just isnt really practical. my $.02

Re: (Tchleung)
what he said. before i put the radials on the back, my car would understeer pretty bad on on-ramps. now, it just sticks. sure, 4 drag radials aren't practical, but they sure are fun!

Re: (FATBOYeg6)
Why would you want to put a soft sidewall sticky tire on a non-drive wheel? I dont see whats bling about it, if I saw drag radials on the back wheels of a fwd car I would laugh.

I agree...and BFGs arent the cheapest tires on the market. I run the BFG's on the front of my GSR with Falken Ziex 512s on the back...it works just fine for the street
