so the times are not stellar by no means lol but i had anticipated this before going, we were betting on a 15.4/15.5. I had ordered an ectune license last week and was planning on getting the car tuned in with a buddy of mine this week, however xenocron and ectune have still not come together with my license yet since i have ordered it, so i was stuck running a very poorly slapped together crome tune. When i mean poorly, i made this tune file out of a dynoed base map file from the xencron database from a turbo civic with a b18b, then i used an af gauge and a boost gauge and my eye ***** to calculate where to add fuel on the VE tables. It was lean in spots and rich in spots and overall just ***. The setup for the night was...
JRSC supercharger (m45 blower) stock pulleys (5-7psi depending on temps, air temp roughly 45-50 degrees, IAT's no idea, assume hot enough to melt lead after 3 back to back runs.)
B18B1, mildly ported head, otherwise stock
custom warm air intake to fit the new s tube
kidd racing b series narrow header
2.5" header back exhaust with 2.5 cat and OEM type-r muffler (2.25 axle back)
gas was 93 shell premium with a little bit of stp octane booster thrown in
first run
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LXvT762Tbj0
second run i redlighted, this is my first time EVER at a drag strip lol for me and my buddy with the ranger, there was no instructions, nobody told us what to do, i had never realized that the first and second staging lights were so close together, i was trying to hold my stall speed right before the light hit green but i guess i over revved it a bit and it jumped forward and redlighted, the pass wound up with a 16.2 because i couldnt launch it right after that
last run i was racing a red civic hatch, no idea what was in this, he ran a 14.3 though, this was my 3rd back to back run, no cool down time inbetween, and the heat buildup in my supercharger was starting to show
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qj1GpDg_9do
after that we stopped, we bother werent certain how the cars would tolerate the runs and the heat buildup on my torque converter and supercharger was massive, visibly so, so i decided to call it quits before something failed completely. I felt it was a pretty successful night seeing as how i hit exactly what i predicted, i was very pissed that i did not have a decent tune on the car, i would say i could drop closer to 15 flat if it had been tuned to run properly but we wont know until next time im back around there. Methanol injection will be the next step as well to keep the supercharger cool.
if you guys want to see the timing maps i was running or anything just say so i will be happy to post them.

have you considered runing a charge air cooler to help with the intake temps? nice times by the way.

the carger sits as the intake so no matter how cool the air is before getting to the throttle body after it enters the t.b. then into the charger then compressed it doesnt even matter anymore
a2a that was kinda funny to me

its gona see methanol in the coming months if the bottom end holds together long enough, im more concerned about the tuning situation at this point, seeing as how the tune file i created was not based on datalogs, as freelog will not allow you to log with the moates demon, so im stuck generating crome files off of visual references from my gauges, which is horribly inaccurate.

nothin done to the auto except for royal purple max atf fluid and a slightly larger trans cooler in a bigger radiator. I plan to have it dyno tuned soon to try to squeeze out what i can to get into the high 14's.
