pump/race gas mix

Default pump/race gas mix



anything special i need to do/buy before running a pump gas/race gas mix? looking for high 400's low 500's on my gsr. car isnt a daily driver so i dont mind getting the race gas to run a mix. looking for 97-98 octane

i wouldnt suggest mixing becuause the mixture will never be the same. just drain the tank and run racegas or pumpgas

I would also just go with race fuel.Just don't go nuts on the octane.

If your not going to drive the car everyday..Like they said drain it and run race...

what if its a daily driver can you mix say 110 or 105 and 93?

You can mix them but like was said it's inconsistent.It's not like 50/50 93 octane and 103 octane makes 98 octane.I have added some race fuel if I'm getting some detonation,but it's just a crutch.

just run a reliable 100 unleaded since it's not a daily driver

Yeah, I have friends that have done it several times, as long as you aren't trying to mix a huge difference in octane and your tune isn't a race gas ONLY tune you will be okay.

wish this was available. im not trying to make a huge difference in octane and i say the car isnt a daily driver but im still going to be taking it out sometimes to places im not gunna intend to race, so full race gas is to expensive for that

i mix, 112 and 93. every time i fill its at the same place, 5 gallons 93 5 gallons sunoco 112.

id say thats pretty consistent

unfortunately race gas doesnt save you from spinning bearings.
