How long does it take before the distribution block fills when you're using the GE vacuum block for oil? I'm worried that that's just a longer time before the head gets oil on startup for the sake of bling

Its not for the sake of bling. I hate bling. Im totally function over form. I hate T'ing the **** out of oil lines....its rediculous.
It doesnt take long for the head to get oil to it. I have the oil pressure gauge last in line and after cold startup the gauge gets oil pressure maybe 1.5 seconds after start up.

About the same for my extended T, then (I have an oil pressure gauge too). I wasn't accusing you of being blinging, just saying if it works why mess with it? I like the idea though and I hope you don't mind if I use it for my turbo setup!

The only time I see pressure drop is at 4800 rpm when vtec kicks in. Drops from 85 psi oil pressure to about 80 psi. I think everyone gets the same thing though.
Again, after start up.....even on these cold winter mornings when oil temp is like 20 degrees I get almost immediate oil pressure directly after startup.

I'm gonna try an aluminum manifold for Northerntool. It's probably the same piece, but it looks a little nicer. I see Graphiteaccord had a total price..but how much was just the vacuum manifold?
http://www.northerntool.com/we...=7371
This is a 5 port for $14.95.

Re: (GraphiteAccord)
What is the size of the Tee which is needed in the brake booster line? Is it 3/8"? Where did you guys find a Tee for this size? I just bought all of the other crap from Mc master, thanks for writing this thread - you saved me a lot!
