Default Where to get a vacuum manifold other than GEM??

GEM is a great company but for a box you have to drill yourself, I think their vacuum manifold is a bit steep. Can anyone give me a better price on one, and where they got it? I know McMaster's has them but exactly which part numbers do you suggest. Their online catalog makes my head spin!

5469 K151 is the vaccum manifold part number, its alumanium and comes in black. Has 6 outlets, 2 inlets, 1/8" NPT pipe thread outlets, with 1/4" NPT pipe inlets.

50785 K21 are brass threaded pipe Hallow hex plugs. Use these to plug up the unwanted vacuum holes in the vacuum log. If you want to run 3 vacuum sources, order 3 of these to plug up the other unwanted holes. These are 1/8" NPT pipe thread.

44555 K131 are the Barb fittings, 1/8th NPT pipe threads. These are the nipple fittings, order as many of these as you plan on running vacuum sources.

I personally went with the 8 outlet manifolds since I have 7 vacuum sources in my engine bay, I dont have the part number for the 8 outlet but you can search the on-line catalog and come up with the page for the vacuum logs.

Dude, its only $40 and you just drill out a thin layer of metal at the bottom of the threaded port... You can make your own from home depot materials if you want, those fittings add up though

Hey phiber. I got that mount you need in your sig.

To add to this thread. Has anyone tried using these manifolds as an oil feed setup?? Could be helpful if you have lsvtec/turbo/oil pressure gauge/oil temp gauge. What do you guys think?

Should work fine for oil. If you want something other than aluminum, they have different options. Stainless might be too expensive for most people tho. I read my mcmaster catalog while I sit on the toilet. I think thats how I found these manifolds..

Awesome! I'm piecing together a vacuum manifold today.

BTW, for further reference the mcmaster.com part numbers for the 3/8" tube to 1/4" pipe barb fittings used for the inlet and outlet of the manifold is 44555K133.

I got mine from Rtype11 on the board the sells the anodized blue ones for cheap, half the price of golden Eagle and he can suplly fittings as well.

Heres a pic of mine, total cost with fittings and everything was under $30 and it looks good too I got raped on my fittings from Ace hardware so if I would have gotten them through him I would have saved $3-5 on fittings alone

I knew one day buying that Pos Vafc couple years ago would come in handy, well the bracket that is
