That's what I think, for the reasons I stated in my earlier post... that it should be OK if you lower compression with the same timing adjustment, but if you up the compression, pull timing. Personally I wouldn't boost until you get it tuned with the new compression anyway, so for getting from the shop to the tuners' you should be fine driving it.

@ Quade dont forget so set a enable boost cut and a disable boostcut checkbox. and maybe set the MAX boostlevel and automaticly resume normal functions 1 or 2 PSI below boost cut to keep it from going on/off on/off ( Sorry for my bad english )

I'm stumped. I figured I'll use code similar to rev limit but how do I set my max boost limit and tell it to cut ignition if it's over the limit? help anyone? Buraku?

Has anyone posted .bin files for a p28 running a b16a? Raene mentioned that he had that setup, but I haven't seen any bin's mentioned in the thread or on the Uberdata site or Gimpy's. I'm running an NA b16a1 converted to OBD1 using a p28. I selling the VAFC that came in the car and buying a wideband and eprom burner to switch to Uberdata = total newbie.

Import the p30 maps into the stockgsr.bin and BAM stock honda b16 maps, add boost etc and your set - tune from there.

Thanks dev. When you say import the maps, does that mean that I copy and paste them in the editor? Go easy on me if thats a stupid question. I did notice that the new version has an import function, but the website warns that its not ready to use yet.

I stated I'm using a B16, but I haven't been able to get 1.63 running without a solid CEL. Everything's great until I crank it, and it cranks, and cranks, and cranks... I think it's the JDMP72USDMB16base I'm using. I will be trying stockGSR today, and yes, AFAIK just cut and paste in the correct #s in all the cells.

My question is, what's fuel pressure on the del Sol VTEC vs on the Integra GSR? That will affect the pulsewidths given, I'd like to know the correct values and duplicate them on my own car...

Yeah I meant use the import feature, wait until the fixed one is posted. I made a p72 bin with b16 values in it and changed the scalars (I believe it is the one raene is using) but I have not tried it with 1.6x just 1.2. (And from the looks of it, it does not want to run on 1.63, from raene's experience) If you can't wait and don't feel like making your own bin, just use 1.2 until the import feature is fixed.

BTW, stock gsr should run fine, they are very close. I ran jdm b18c4 maps (long story) on my b16a2 and it ran fine.

I've just gave a shot at 1.63 (never tried 1.2) on my P28. The engine fired like it was stock. I had a cell but I forgot to disable the knock sensor Now it's running with no cell, the rev limit works fine @ 2500 (just for testing). If it could stop snowing, I could have done a test drive Now where is that ZIF socket...

What bin did you use ? disable that knock and give it a nice test when it stops snowing and have fun.

That's what we all waiting to hear..someone actually made a successful burn with the 1.6x. I hope more people with story like this can share...I'm waiting to get my burner..then I will be burning left and right. To Sir Blakes for making it possible...

I've used P28-ERMbaseline bin. BTW, is there any docs about the scripting commands and the syntax ? I was about to ask how Uberdata knew where to org the asm routines until I looked at a script, very nice. Now is it possible to get a memory map of the rom ?

BTW, what's the diff between 27SF256 and 29C256 chips ?

I believe the 27xx256 is write once and not rewritable and the 29c256 is an EEPROM which means you can rewrite as many times as you want on the same chip so get this one.

I believe you can get 27c256 that are rewriteable or ones that are single-writable. I'm looking at some 27c chips that we got for my brother's PW0 that I socketed and they're rewriteable They have to be UV-erased though.

Found the info:

27C256 are re-writable but must be UV erased (This is what I have)

27SF256 are re-writable and can be erased by the programmer for ~1000 times.

29C256 are re-writable and can be erased by the programmer for ~10000 times. You can reprogram this chip without erasing it. (This is what I'm getting).

Good news guys, I tried my 2 step rev limiter (not the ftl/fts in Uberdata) and everything seems in order, boosted 3psi, no cell was thrown. Next step will be to switch from my 345cc to my 450cc and than if everything goes well, I'll be buying some 680cc or 720cc.
