Yeah, when you do stupid ****, sometimes it costs you a lot of money... I've done it before, and payed for it too. Bad excuse to sell your car though, not that you need one. Rebuild that bitch!

Holly waste of money batman!!!

So you spent all that money but went the cheap route as far as engine management?!?! Should have just put in a GSR and used the extra money to buy engine management.

I'm sure if you don't have a piston in little bits and pieces, one of them has a hole in it. Detonation kills pistons quick! With the advanced timing and pistons you have, I'm surprised it went 4 days!

I didnt get cheap on engine management, I got the car with the C5 in it already. I just boosted it, I know I shouldnt have ran the chipped ecu, but I had no choice. Earlier that day I had a stock p72 ecu in there but my friend took it back. I dont recall asking anyone what I should have done and I'm pretty sure I also didnt ask people if it was my fault or not. I know that the **** blew up because of the chipped ecu. ALL I WAS ASKING: WHAT PEOPLE THOUGHT HAPPENED TO MY MOTOR. so just understand if i don't appreciate people telling me "it's all your fault"

How do you figure? Last I checked, the AFC hack is cheap management for controlling a turboed motor.

Sad thing is, you allready have a chipped ecu. For $10 somebody would have burned you an uberdata boost chip that would have kept your car running for at least a year. I burned a chip for my buddies b18b on a 56 trim at 10 psi. Stock block he's gonna be hitting a year of daily driving and beating the **** out of his motor.

If you using an interface to confuse the ecu into believeing it isnt seeing boost...then thats not real management. real management is letting the ecu read boost and tune to it. dont trick it tune it.

If your so smart, then you should have known not to boost how your car was set up. Sell your car, you aren't cut out for this s***.

BTW, your motor is blown the f*** up. You lost your rings at a minimum but more than likley holed a piston, cracked a sleeve, and probably did the HG in as well. If your lucky you didn't crack any valves or burn up the cylinder head too bad. In other words, the motor is probably a total loss.

I don't know it all, but I sure as **** wouldn't have thrown a turbo on a C5 with an AFC Hack.

Don't you think we work hard for the **** we have too? It's just that most of us enter a project with proper research so we don't end up doing **** twice.

BTW, the PLX wideband I purchased to tune the free DIY ROM Editor I use costs less than the AFC.

1) Detonation from too much spark advance cracked your pistons' ringlands.

or

2) Hot-spot induced pre-ignition burned a hole in one or more pistons.

I tend to believe that your motor was a victim of detonation.

I think your biggest mistake was to keep driving the car when it blew the "first" time that night. You could have saved yourself a lot of time, money, parts, and aggravation if you would have quickly shut it down and pulled over to tow the car home... rather than drive it and destroy even more parts.

Damn, you didn't even get fuel management! Sorry, but you just shouldn't have even started the car until you got fuel management. Just fix the car and get Hondata, or any fuel management that will tune fuel AND timing.

Well it kinda is, because instead of throwing the motor AWAY, you should throw IN forged internals, (rods, pistons, bearings) and hone it. Ohh yea, get hondata and you will be on your way to a lot more power than before. . . .

That's because you have those special c6 internals

That's why people always advise to stay away from high speed pulls, they put a ton of stress on the motor.

BTW, I blew my engine the same way, afc hack, middle of 4th, but mine was a lot worse, I hadda crack my sleeve too

Well this whole story is sad, build it back up & certainly dont leave the scene! Just think,

Civic = Rebuild Engine = TURBO"D! = Lots of attention which = HOT GIRLS!!! So basically, if u wanna get laid, rebuild your engine, & its not just "an" engine, its a FECKING B18C5 INTEGRA TYPE R ENGINE! THAT THING FECKING RUNS LIKE 4 GRAND! Many people would kill for one of those, I have killed 7 people so far & still haven't got one, so build it up!

I think I shall reply to this in the same manner you replied to our posts.

YOU ARE STUPID, CHEAP, AND ITS ALL YOUR FAULT, **********.

Now, to get on with it. I bet if you pull the head you will find a nice little hole in the top of your piston. Either way, you're looking at a rebuild.

you probably would never have had a problem if you hadn't decided to basically run it ragged on the highway like that....

I'll give you $1500 cash for the complete car as-is in the condition its in.
