I've been clowned multiple times by dumbass domestic owners, of how shitty my car is because it stalls after 30 seconds of me getting out of it, when I explainend to them about the turbo timer they are so living backwards it makes them laugh more.

i grew up in a "car modifying" family so i never got it from them. I also surround myself with people with the same interests so never got it from them either.

i used to get the comments from outsiders.

My parents are pretty accepting of it, they know that it is beyond an obsession for me and they are supportive of the fact that it's just what I like to do.

Most common one I get is mostly from people who don't really know the extent of it, something along the lines of "why are you always working on your car if it's not really broken?" or "why do you need all that **** for your car, its fine how it is".

Hahaha! I totally understand this now... I tore my engine down thinking I'd have it up in a week or two... then ordered custom pistons... decided to have it bored a bit... etc, etc, etc. Now it's been down for about 2 months already *laughs*
