Lsvtec boosted oil issues
Hey everyone so I am running a 97 Integra with a golden eagle sleeved b18 84.5 bore super tech pistons Manley roads are hardware b16a head stock cams and valve dual valve springs stock manifold precision 6262 turbo etc supetech valve seals had the head plained
my problem is smoking burning oil....
thought it was the turbo no
pulled the exhaust manifold and all 4 ports are wet I would be hard pressed all exhaust seals are bad...
did a compression test 150-150-150-150 seems low but also low compression block for
boost...
could this be rings? Or could it really be all exhaust seals?
it does it while idling minimal
rev a little and it puffs
please help! On my wits end with this car

Update*****
pulled both intake and exhaust manifold exhaust had lots of oil in each port the intake also had oil in the port but not in the manifold past the runner or on the throttle body

Sounds like oil rings. Likeliness of all stem seals going bad at once is low lol. And in accordance to low compression numbers. Did you break in the rings properly? Non-detergent 30w non syn. If you put synthetic too soon its too slippery for ring seating.
Oil rings (if im not mistaken) will burn all the time, stem seals upon cold start, turbo will be in the downpipe and leaking out of the chra, not in your exhaust manifold from the head. That means its coming from inside the engine. Can worn valve guides leak? I think oil is coming from somewhere into the CC.

What is your PCV / catch can setup like on this engine?
If you run the engine, let it cool completely, and pull the manifolds, you can see oil pooled on the backs of the valves if the stem seals are leaking badly.
Are you sure it's oil? What fuel are you running?

Hello sorry for long delay I believe I broke the rings in correctly I hold compression across the cylinders I know it’s a little low at 150-150-150-150 but what should it be with low compression pistons? I believe they are 8:5:1 pistons?
I run a catch can from the head and block 4 port that sits in the battery tray 2 to the valve cover 2 to the back of the block I used non detergent conventional oil on initial break in found no metal in the oil when changed I wish I could get the pix to load when I pulled off the manifold for exhaust it seems like cylinder 2 and 4 had a lot of oil as 1-3 seemed only coated

Re: Lsvtec boosted oil issues
Compression numbers vary based on if the engine was hot or cold and and if the test was dry or wet. 170 ish wish warm engine. 150 sounds fine if the engine was cold ish.
Need to perform a leak down test next. After that it's what others were saying. Rings or valve seals.
