Re: LST / LS-T Turbo B18A B18B setups
Drag radials are garbage lol im surprised you got that low of a 60t. lol I cut better times on street tires then drag radials. Lowest ive cut was a 1.70 with 24.5" slicks with a tired lsvtec on 12 psi lol. with a healthy LS on 12 psi with some road race slicks i cut a 1.80 spinning like mad
up the boost in second gear sounds like it could use a few more psi, i would also ride out 1st gear a little further. looks like a little short shift into second . nice clean run though

That video wasnt my best. I didnt short shift at all the good run. I probably could have upped the boost in second but it was my last pass of the night cause a charge pipe blew off the next run and I was tired.
It would have been the best night for anyone. The track was really well prepped and there were only about 4-5 other cars running so I just did a pass and went right back to stage.

So can't wait to get my db7 boosted....but I wanted to know what valve train some of you are running in your motors. I'm have a built motor stock head, with 70mm throttle body and a jg x factor manifold......what's the best way valve train and cams.

supertech or crower dual valve springs and retainers will get the job done along with some JG303 cams. victor x manifold is a bit to much for a stock port LS head. be better off with a blox. sure sure to run a turbular manifodl ro a spa top mount cast cause the jg303's need room to breathe

im running crower dual springs, retainers, and 404's and i love that setup idle is a lil choppy but its sounds nice at night when its cold.

Will an S compressor housing fit with an Inline pro a/c manifold?
Edit: A search found my answer, and it is NO

Ive pulled a 1.7860ft on bfgs and went 11.58@126.8 running out of gear.
(84mm lsvtec@10psi w. 370whp)
ive pulled a 1.58 60ft with a ls turbo also, wich was my best 60ft. 20psi boost, 7k launch on 24.5 slicks
my buddy just did a 1.860ft on his lsvtec turbo @ 9psi running 12.0@115 on BFGs
BFGs a good, sometimes. not always

Re: LST / LS-T Turbo B18A B18B setups
track prep, suspension, traction bars and boost control and launch control are all very important factors. When i pulled 1.70's on 24.5's i was on completely stock gsr suspension and the 1.80 on road race slicks was also on completely stock gsr suspension both were on LS engines one bone stocl 1.80 and one on my old built head and both were launched at 6200rpm
there are so many factors and it takes a while to really dial in a setup, but sometimes you just get really lucky and everythign works good

Yes thats the panduckey flange. But like JDMSLEEPER states just weld a t4 flange on where you want it. should work fine just have it welded by someone that knows how to tig with cast metal
I dont knwo why they dont just change the casting a little and make the turbo sit straight

Re: LST / LS-T Turbo B18A B18B setups
I broke the differential at the track. 9.5@84mph on rt-615's was the best I could muster up spinning all the way down the 1/8th. I had to turn the boost way down to do that as well. Time for some slicks and a nice LSD for the new tranny going in, and then in the spring it's on!
