Re: (aarow)
I have been in here for like a year but I don't think I have mentioned what I have to the little Rex's engine. So here it is so far, I still need a 3 inch exhaust cutout and some A/N fittings, a few other things, etc etc... Then I should have everything to hold me over for now.
<U>B18A</U>
-OBD-I
-hondata S300
-darton sleeves
-JE pistons
-scat con rods
-ferrea valves
- port & polish, port match
-ACT clutch
-greddy catch can
-BLOX intake manifold
-spoolin performance charge pipes
-spoolin performance ramhorn manifold
-spoolin perfromance intercooler (24x9x3)
-T3/T4 (57 trim w/ .60 A/R)
-3 inch downpipe
-3 bar MAP sensor
-ARP headstuds
- 880cc injectors
-ZEX 75 shot wet (won't be needing this anymore haha)
I also have Crower 403's, ti-retainers, and dual valve springs that I bought recently but I am going to wait to put them on, 'til I switch over to a different turbo I think.
My goals are pretty realistic and maybe even conservative for having a built block. I am aiming for a 275-ish "low" boost setting, and somewhat more for high boost. Maybe around 350 or so. I dunno, I will see what my car thinks of it on the dyno soon.
Anyone recommend some parts that have worked good for them? I know I still have a few things to buy.
I am pretty much sure that I will get the BFG drag radials. I think with my 17 inch wheels and those drag radials I should get decent traction.

Maybe if you didnt want brand new price for the darn thing someone would buy it. Its used and not worth brand new price. Lower the price a bit and im sure someone will pick it up from you with the quickness

Re: (mikeedge)
yeah dude, ebay brand new just about the same price for the victor x manifold. look it up. I had a custom manifold that i paid 300 forand i didnt sell it for 250. LOl i got like 125 for it. If you really want to sell it then rethink the price. No-one is going to pay 250 for used one when you can get new for a few bucks more. Just tryin to help you make the sale thats all

Its for an LS. </TD></TR></TABLE>
No one's gonna pay $250 for a used IM man, even if it is polished. Turbo-LS is just giving you some sound advice. It sucks to have to eat the loss a little but, but that's how it goes when you sell used **** via private sale.

I'm gonna start peicing together my turbo kit soon and was wondering what turbo you guys recommend. It is gonna be on a 96 LS and it is gonna be a daily driver that sees the 1/4 Mile every now a then. I want between 220-250 WHP.

Re: (Outkast95LS)
Just a quick request:
The Turbo XS blow off valve that I bought ended up not being able to fit on the flange for my new charge pipes I just got. So basically I need to buy a new one. Anyone have any soundclips/video of their blow off valves? I want one that is somewhat quieter.

You may want to do what I did; take them to Home Depot and check all of the metric bolts until you find what you need.
