Now that is a version of "black-on-black crime" I can live with!!. Doesn't matter who won, it looked fun either way.

Do any of you LS-T peeps use Injector Dynamics 1000cc injectors? How do you like them? I have Precision 880's now, and am in the process of getting the car rolling again, and I'm wondering if it would be worth it to switch to the ID1000's. The last time I drove the car, it was very cold-natured and didn't want to idle.

ID1000s here. I have crower 404s and the car starts and idles like stock. Sucks actually, I was hoping to get a nice cammy idle lol.

Takes a real man to show him getting worked by not one but 2 other cars.. so KUDOS for showing it anyway!!

The Evolution not only had power, but had the final drive and gearing to keep within its torqueband. Change that LS final drive out and you'll be in a more usable world.

Its a stock transmission I believe he told me. But yes, it moves the eff out.

Id rather mess with the tire size to get the 'final drive' I want. Will be looking into a new set of tires this coming year.

ID's hands down best injectors on the market. I had 1000's and those are now in my buddies car and im currently running 2000's. The old style precision peak & hold injectors arent that great. For the time they worked and still work but wont dirve like an ID will

On that I have no doubt. The Evolution GS-R 5 speed transmissions (yes, they are called GS-Rs) are much more desirable than the MR's 6 speed.

That's the drag racing thought process you're using again.. For quarter mile sure. For a better torque multiplier, you can't beat a better final drive to help with overall gearing.

you have my curiosity. I'm guessing a GSR 5th gear would be a better choice?

I am about to install my new cusco LSD, but I don't think a final GSR gear will fit over it.

Springs for LS are cheap enough. Don't bother with hacking **** together. That's a recipie for disaster period.

Your cusco needs GRADE Level 5 oil (from Kaaz, Cusco, ATS, or even Kiwi@special projects). You would need to get a B16/LS final drive from MFactory or King Motorsports that is 4.785 (notice I said not GS-R gear, that changes only one area.)

Could also run a b16 final which would fit the diff.

Yep.. I might have mentioned that . But I mentioned 4.785 for a reason. Not the standard 4.4
