Re: ls turbo cams?
404's vs the 402T's From a VERY reputable tuner here in Tampa.
Heres the link if anyone cares..
http://www.tamparacing.com/forums/ho...omparison.html
Crower 62402T vs Crower 62404 Dyno Comparison We tuned a nice LS setup on Sunoco Maximal. First time in it made 450whp @ 28lbs/29lbs. Felt like something was holding it back. Both in vacuum and in boost. Took the Crower 62402-T cams out. Replaced them with Crower 62404 cams. Also added a 3" -> 4" downpipe. First pull it made 404whp @ 15lbs/16lbs. 470whp @ 19lbs/20lbs. 520whp @ 27lbs/28lbs but blew the intercooler piping off. With the larger 404's the car made this power with three degrees less timing than the 402T's. Made some changes to the intercooler piping. Going to dyno again Monday or Tuesday

Um no...405's maby..Ive had 404's and they make streetable power down low..And if thats a concern then go with the 403's.My point is the 402's are not the best option.

Re: ls turbo cams?
There is a 800+ LS-T thread and the general consensus is that the JG 303's are the best cams to use with a B18B turbo.

Re: ls turbo cams?
As stated above the 404s hands down.
We have a shop beater integra 18X,XXX miles stock bottom end, ported head, 404s, valvetrain turd-bo-netics turbo, homemade ramhorn manifold
makes 380@17psi runs 11s in a FULL interiored integra with slicks all day
I know the tuner who gave that information above and we both recommend the 404s. the car almost sounds and feels like it has vtec and at 7000 feels like it hits a second time, kinda odd but very awesome.
they can also be made to idle pretty smooth or lope all depends on what you want, and if the tuner can do it with the engine management

You cannot order the cams on their site right now, but if you call and state you have a boosted B18B, they will recommend the JGE303. It started out as an all motor cam design, but it worked so well on boosted B18B's that they removed their old boosted cam for the B18B and this is all they will sell now. Trust me when I say at 4000rpms, my car snapped to 8500rpms in 3rd gear. It was one hell of a pull over the stock cams that run out of huff at 6500-7000rpms.

Re: ls turbo cams?
Yeah, you should have no issues revving to 8500rpms with that setup. I was told to to keep revving until the car stopped making power. I had some issues before I left on my deployment with a bur on a cam gear causing the belt to shred and destroyed my head, but the cams will eventually go back in because the stock head I threw on there real quick is not nearly as fun.

Re: ls turbo cams?
I honestly couldn't tell you because it happened after 200 miles on a fresh engine build, and then again a couple hundred miles afterwards. That is when I got smart and found the burr on the cam gear after destroying two heads and **** canned them for some others I had in the garage. Thank god for forged pistons or I would have really been hosed! I had just started tuning it for more boost, so when I went back to the stock cams I could definitely feel the lack of peppyiness.
