Help me clarify this wiring chart. JRSC install..
OK, this is for my jrsc,
heres the exerpt from the instructions where I get confused.
Can someone help me figure out exactly how the wires are supposed to be setup?
I'm curious wtf that jagged line is supposed to mean?
so i'm alittle confused as to exactly how to setup the wires.
thanks alot!

That symbol usually signifies a resistor. If you need any other help with your setup the link below is to a discussion board that has a lot of cars with JRSC's.

thanks,
I posted on that board too,
it looks really helpful, hope it moves quick enough.
Anyone know if I can run without this relay/switch setup for a while?

Re: (Tad)
How are you going to take care of fuel enrichment without using this relay 'trick'? The pressure switch you install is there to trigger this relay and when this relay is triggered, all it does is switch in a different value of resistance which tricks the ECU into thinking freezing air is coming into the manifold.
If you have some other form of fuel management, then there shouldn't be a problem with not running it, because....well....you've now taken care of fuel management.

Re: (Tad)
You need both, you can tell when the relay is not working by the happy little pinging noise :-) as the FMU is a static 5:1 that just doesn't give enough fuel on its own.
What model/year is that for?
I concur that the JRSC instructions are a little shakey at places ("If clearance does not exist, make clearance with a hammer", my favorite).
I would try giving jackson racing a call, they are pretty helpful when i had problems.

Re: (FMXer)
its a sohc kit, 92-95
I'm just going to find a JR map controller,
and give the guy I bought the kit from some ****.
I did alittle reading into it, and basically the map controller replaces the "fuel enrichment relay" setup, and works better to boot.
I got a 1/8" npt brass plug from homedepot, it fills in the pressure switch spot on the IM perfectly.
So i'll try and get my setup running with that until I can get a map controller.
I just wont mash on it.
BTW, now that i've got some JR heads attention,
why is it that I have JR crank pulley, yet the instructions say nothing about installing any crank pulley? Seems like the instructions want you to run the stock pulley, someone said you need the JR pulley for the belt to line up, but I'm looking at all the pulleys and the stock crank lines up just fine.
What'll the diff be between the two pulleys? will I get more or less PSI with the stock pulley?

Re: (Tad)
well then you've just got urself an upgraded crank pulley maybe an 8psi?
the stock pulley will let u run 6psi ... and it has the same orientation at tje JR pulley
the JR pulley is lighter and slightly bigger then your stock

oh cool!
but, are you sure about that?
