i've always done that more like 30-40ft/lb on the first pass and spec on the second

Are you sure the head is lifting? Could very well be sleeves sinking. Its rare but it does happen and has same effect as headlift. Who sleeved the block

Upgrade from that shitty tuning software to something more dependable like eCtune or neptune...

Sounds like you need to wait and save money to get a "good" system to properly tune the car... Telling me how hard your life is , doesn't solve your problem, nor do i care. So save up, and do it right.. hondata is crap to begin with...2ndly, who runs a system that's obsolete in the first place on a serious motor, such as this.

honestly if youve got coolant 3 times using headstuds unless this thing has MASSIVE amounts of ignition those sleeves are sinking and al it takes is a tiny bit to break the seal on the HG especially when boosted. Ive had experience with sinking sleeves i know the pain lol

ok so i pulled the head, i cant tell if the sleeve has sunk, i can feel with my finger nail a lip rubbing from the sleeve to the block? does the mean there sinking, shouldnt it be a perfect machined surface. i havnt put a straight edge and feeler gauge on it yet but it doenst feel right.

65 sounds low for h series arp headstuds...

dude your 5 hours from T1!!!! tow that thing to Tony when you have saved some money and dont worry about having to spend anymore money after its fixed!

Upgrade to S300 or Neptune...

sounds like either undertorqueing, sinking sleeves, or to much timing in your tune....

Yup sleeves are sunk. if you can catch your nail on them there sunk its such a tiny amount but it happens and thats all it takes. i mean double check with a straight edge or a feeler gauge but sounds like bad sleeves

Since when was hondata crap? Ive been running it and tuning on it for years, certainly seems good to me. Maybe not the best thing out there but its good stuff. basically anythign oem ecu based isnt going to be the greatest system but its affordable and still allows the tuning you need to mod your car. Not everyone has baller money for a motec or aem or haltech

Nobody said **** about AEM or motec or haltech.. Hondata is a good system, but to me, its crap. eCtune and neptune are both systems that are better coded and more user friendly...

Besides.. ectune/neptune have figured out a coding problem already that hondata still has.. and it has to do with the dwell ign tables..hondata's doesn't correctly compesate like it should... I like hondata, i tune hondata.. i just know there's better stuff for cheaper that can do the same + more.

and its nothing against hondata in general.. the s100/s200 is garbage period.

At least step up to the s300 but why spend 500+ dollars when 399.00 can get u neptune or ectune with a demon board and it does all the same ****.

As a shop, tuner and engine builder i'm suppose to be open minded to all things, and i am. Its hard to explain to people who have rode the hondata bandwagon for so long why the program that "thought" they owned the honda code is alittle less then steller.. after what they tried to do, to the DIYers i lost all respect.

I have nothign against ectune or neptune, great systems. Im certainbly not on the hondata bandwagon. When i got mine it was hondata or crome and dealer only neptuning so i went with s300. I do like ectune but why spend money on it when i have a working system. Fixed ignition tables would be nice and yeah the 100-200 suck
