Re: (notfastenough)
Thanks guys, I have about 5 cars locally that will make over 600hp that'll get this setup. So stay tuned for dyno numbers. Maybe 1quikef will be done with his car soon too

The problem there is that if one pump fails, it usually fails quickly and pressure drops quickly. If there are 2 and only one fails, you will continue to run on low fuel pressure until a) the motor blows or b) you notice low fp and turn the car off.</TD></TR></TABLE>
I think this would be an ok setup with dual densos. Check out the big hp supra guys.
I still dunno. Warlbos are hit or miss. You can rebuild an A1000. I dunno. Some of you guys put major money in your setups. Hate to see one go (even though I'm a domestic loving honda hater) over a glitchy fuel pump.
Great idea though. Should get great sales.

Re: (rico91stang)
densos wouldnt fit, they are alot bigger in size compared to the walbro. The densos are pretty spendy also. Weve sold/used hundreds of walbros without any issues. Walbro charges $40 for any warranty claims because they had a bunch of people who sent in pumps thinking they were bad but turned out good.

As someone mentioned earlier, you can use a HOBBs switch to kill ignition if pressure drops too far. If your base is set to 43.5psi like stock, you'd set it just below that tune it with the FPR nipple disconnected. This would keep it 43.5psi for the entire fuel map, and when a pump starts dying and goes below the HOBBs switch, ign dies. Thinking about it more, you could probably hook it to a delayed relay instead, and wouldn't have to 'arm' the switch after priming the pumps
The thing is fuel pumps don't usually die instantly. You can find a bunch of long threads wondering why their car leans out up high, only to find out their pump is dying, but not completely dead. If one of the twins starts dying, the same deal will happen, but only half as 'drastic'.

You should cruise around the Supra Forums. There are many reports of Walbro's dying outta nowhere.

You don't want to tune a turbo car without the vacuum line hooked up on the FPR, you'll run out of fuel way before you normally would. You need the pressure reference to keep the pressure ratio across the injectors the same.
