DSM fuel pump rating???
Does anyone know the pump rating on say a 98 GSX? OR any DSM turbo fuel pump for example. And what all DSM pumps will plug in to a 92 Civic? Well what all fuel pumps will like 5.0 mustang? what years etc, etc?

at 43 psi, 12v... 130 lph
" , 14v.... 156 lph...
here's the link....
http://www.roadraceengineering.com/f...pflowrates.htm
the wiring is different, but just rewire it
it will fit, i got an rx7 pump in my car and the dsm pump is almost identical from what i can remember..
you gotta bend some stuff to make it fit on the pump bracket/assembly..

The b series hondas and turbo dsm pumps actually come up as a cross reffrence in many auto parts stores they are so closely matched. However, if you have a d-series powered car, then the dsm pump can be of great use to you. I put one in my friends turbo civic EX and it made a MASSIVE difference.

Can you define "massive"? What did you see? The pump was able to sustain fuel pressure with large injectors?
Thanks,

By massive I mean the car pulled better because a stock pump with a FMU wanting 100 psi fuel pressure under boost isn't a good thing. In reality the stock pump probably started cavitating at 55psi, and the dsm pump might be able to handle 75 psi. THats ~20 psi more fuel pressure and the car while still running lean doesen't detonate anymore. Yes this is a ghetto setup and I am warning the kid but I don't know anything about hondas . In reality I want him to get a walbro 190 lph pump, B&M fpr hack, v-afc, dsm 450's, and an in cockpit EGT and fuel pressure gauge till i'm satisfied. When we get that all running then its time for a msd boost retard.
BUt in the meantime, the dsm pump was free, I guess thats the good thing about having dsm guys for friends. THeir stock parts are upgrades for civics.

Your friend is an idiot for running n fmu on a stcok pump, hes probably still running lean with the dsm pump.
