Custom Inlet Manifold
This is work in progress, it will be made out of Carbon Fiber.
Any opinions, critisism, help appreciated.

The Plenum Volume 3648792.63 mm3 +- 450mm Long
The Runner Volume 230185.86 mm3 +- 140mm long

Only thing I need to still find out is whether the plenum and runners are the correct sizes.

what helmholtz resonance frequency did you decide to tune it to? I am interested in how close it would match our exhaust manifolds freqeuency.

that crazy zigzag where the plenum meets runners looks like its gonna create really bad vortexes, plenum volume in the 2,3 runner area is to large, what giggler pin did you use to calibrate with a 93-4 you shouldd stick with the 84v.1? IMO
oh yeah sorry to be a total ***, but if that is to scale that manifold will rest on my lap while driving.

yeah, I think the wobbler shaft is too close to the angle of the dangle. What the hell are u guys talking about? Am I the only dumbass reading this post who feels retarded now?

Geoff I will get back to you on that, I am not 100% sure yet my calcs are accurate(New territorry, and waiting for Jeff to help me out), and there are a few changes that will happen fairly soon.
rtype11, I will look into your suggestions,but it will fit though, of course im still playing with it.
vtec.dc2 the problem with plastics are that you will need to make a few thousand units as the tooling will be super expensive. CF also helps with heatsoak.
Alchemist I use Solid Edge V15.

BTW: Why DOES the wilson manifold make power? I have been grilled on why it should not make power, so far no explanation as to why it does.

the bellhorns shrowded by the flat walls on the bottom and the sides is going to hurt flow and increase turbulance. If you are wanting to use a raised bellhorn design you will probably want to look into raising them off the floor of the plenum. The other option would be to sink the bellhorns into the plenum floor but then you will need to fix the sharp walls and corners in front of and on the sides of the bellhorn.
