There's a lot of clean boosted Maxima setups...just not too many 3rd gens. And there's a good majority of the Maxima guys who aren't on 4dsc or the Org. My brother is working on a VE-T right now that will definitely be in the top 5, along with your bros.

The biggest hurdle for them is fuel-management and weak transmission input shaft bearings. They don't have all the options we do with Hondas.</TD></TR></TABLE>

yup. thats the problem jeremy (brother) is having with his setup (not enough tranny).

fuel managment on the 3rd gens is great. he kind of pioneered (along with a few other dudes) chipping the ECU and running bigger injectors with LIVEEDIT or whatever. the guy who does NISTUNE is working on a setup that works for maxima ecus, but its not done yet. i'd love to see your brothers kit man!

Why is there a stereo in this thing? It's not like you would be able to hear it over the road noise, turbo spooling, exhaust leaks, intake whine....

his buddy (with a copy of his kit) and him are in the garage right now laughing about this car. look at the way the exhaust feed for the close turbo goes from like 2.5'' to 1.5'', then into the turbo. what a pile of crap.</TD></TR></TABLE>

Guys this is a shitty way of doing stuff. I have a 87 maxima built from a family car and it looks like this and almost put down 400 TQ and 300 WHP.

Now that we have the basics down, time to move on to more exotic stuff!

Nomex was created for this type of setup. WOW! lots of work and interesting remote turbo application.

Open floorpan would help with heat dispersal - - Maybe a HUGE roof scoop for air movement.

that will be cool when you wreck the car and one of those turbos at a scorching amount of heat are shoved into your midsection, or an oil line pops off and sprays your face with hot oil while you're going 120mph

All the people in here hating on that car have no idea how much work goes into creating a custom setup like that. I like it, its not the fastest or best setup, and im sure the builder knows that. Badass

there's only one thing that the 'builder' has proven, and that is that anyone can slap a bunch of parts together and non-engineer a turbo kit. It takes effort and thought to actually shove all that hardware under the hood where it belongs rather than scatter parts all over the ******* chassis. This thing is a ******* death trap.

disagreeing with a bullshit setup does not = hate, ok?

i'll admit...the setup kinda sucks for "beauty" and" efficiency"...but it pretty much rocks too, because its not sweet at all.. thats what makes me like it. haha
