There is so much bickering in this thread, its unbelievable.
Bisi, congrats on hitting 700+whp on a D series. That torque is outrageous too!! I'm not too thrilled about the Supra-esque powerband, but for a drag car, who the hell cares. Despite the haters and the dyno conspiracy theorists, you have managed to meet your goal.

Congratulation to the 700hp goal reached, but its to bad that we cant see it...
On other hand, 2 month ago, I PM bisi to help me, on my B N/A set up,
but it look like some people can not become bisi's customers.
I guess he is to much busy on some personal projects.
what ever, take 1 minute to answer back someone, even to say that you can not,
it should not be so hard...

^ I'm pretty sure Bisi is a pretty busy dude. When ever i stop by the shop he's always tied up doing something, more then "personal" projects.Maybe it is hard for someone with his schedule to come on Hater-tech all the time and answer all the pm's i'm sure he gets everyday.
you should try pm'ing justin@bisimoto. He has always been quick to respond to my questions as he is always here to answer questions and stuff.

Re: Bisimoto's 1st full Turbo build: Quest for 700whp D16Z WagoVan
FrankAcura,
My sincerely apologies, as yes, I am extremely busy of late, with crazy projects and new products to add to the Bisimoto arsenal. My staff, including Justin, are more than capable to help out.
In regard to falling out of boost, I guess that is where gearing and anti-lag via the AEM Gen2 work best.
Some updates,
With all the fun on the dyno, coupled with numerous blasts on the street with 4 passengers (yes, people visit and ask for rides), the previous single disk clutch gave up the ghost. Now bare in mind that the Action 2MS is an excellent clutch for setups 600whp and lower, even in relatively heavy vehicles like our "full passengered" Bisimoto wagon.
Spec clutch came to the rescue with an amazing, and lightweight, twin disk clutch assembly, specifically manufactured for the D-series.
The construction is superb, the disks are made of a ceramic matrix, and of solid hub design. The attention to detail allows ease of installation (stickers like "flywheel side" and "clutch side" help the DIYer during install), and the steel flywheel is also appropriately lightened, which I simply love.
Eight pound flywheel...yes!!!
So, I removed the 2MS as she gave all she could:
Not so bad after tons of power runs on the Dynapack, and over 32 full throttle joyrides with friends and customers:
Weight comparisions. I would take a 2 pound rotating mass advantage, any day of the week!
Ready for installation:
In there!:
The kit came with specialized bolts for the flywheel and pressure plate. It is so cool to depress the pedal and hear the soft twin disk "chime" that is associated with multi-disk assemblies. The pedal pressure is not bad at all, and akin to heavy duty single diaphrams. After 500 miles of break in, the clutch assembly hooks like no tomorrow. Now, lack of traction is my friend...again.
I cannot wait to go to the track to test this vehicle out. Only if my busy schedule permits.

What kind of trap mphs are you shoting for? With 700+hp you should easly see some 145mph+ traps then right?

Thanks, Ahobbs, your build is pretty nice as well.
I have not raced since November due to my busy schedule. I love to drag race, but have not even had the time to touch my Honda Insight. The woes of hard work...sigh.
I will be happy with anything she gives me. I would love to get close to my Insight's MPH even with the heavier weight, not so ideal gear ratios, and higher coefficient of drag that the wagon has. Only time will tell.

Just a quick update guys,
The WagoVan IS going to be at the Spocom Show on Sunday July 18th, 2010! So come check it out!
Also, since I know we all are into the social networking, follow Bisi and the shop at both Twitter and Facebook!
Also, for those of you interested there is still room on the H22 buy, so give us a call at the shop if you are interested!
Thank you for all the support everyone!

RickyLee53, are you working with dynos on a daily basis? If not I suggest you should stop analyzing something that you dont know for a fact.
If you have an analysis, or a test that confirm your statement goahed and post it, if not Posts like this are just unneccesary.
Anyway 3% of 730whp is a diffrence of 20 hp. go to 4 different dynojets and you will se the same results.
A dyno is a tool, the dynapack is lovly to work with, and the numbers that came from bisis dyno are just as accurate as anyone elses.

I don't need or have the time to. I thought it was a known thing. I guess you don't work with roller dyno's often, the next time you do, quickly do your own tests.
Do a temp gun test on the tyres before and after a dyno pull. I don't know the exact specific heat capacity of synthetic rubber, but you'll probably find its similar to that of water. (2kj/kg) With 20kg's of tyre its not hard to realise we aren't talking about a couple of kw's here.
Anyway, lets get this thread back on course. PM me if you wish to reply.
The new clutch looks awesome, very lightweight and compact as well.
