Not if you apply voltage directly to the solenoid... and you can disable the pressure and coolant requirements for engagement... not to mention most healthy motors make enough oil pressure at idle to lock them.
So how did it idle? I might do this for giggles on my ls/VTEC. Imagine GSC T1s idling on the vtec lobes.... lolol

Took it for a spin. Needs some brake lovin. Pedal seemed to disappear for some reason. .. not even a leak. Other than that. Air to water needs fluid and she's set
