Re: 900hp goal! help me reach it! what turbo??
for 900 hp you need a clutch axles and gearsets bellhousing etc for about $ 10 000 - 15 000..
Get yourself a ride in a 500hp honda and then come back and tell us if you need 900.. I would say anything over 5-600 is for drag racing only at a preppt drag strip with slicks..

Your going to have a few problems
-anything more than 450-500 is very hard to keep traction on the streets
-on a small displacement engine you cant have 900hp and quick spool
-you will HAVE to run race gas in which your dd is out the window
-900 hp is going to be a very very large challange on itself.
- your single walbro will not supply enough fuel
- reliable and 900 hp dont belong in the same sentence really.
-on top of that good luck im sure you will have alot more harsh people than me.

You say this car will not be raced...so may I ask, why would you want 900 whp for the street when you're not gonna be able to utilize it? Just to say "I did it?"
But to answer your turbo question to contribute to this thread, a Bullseye S372 ETT or Precision Billet 4272R will get you there GRANTED the rest of your setup is capable.

so if jg is no good who in c.a should i send my motor to be built? or at least the block? i want a built sleeved block and thought jg was a good deal.. my local shop wants $700 just for labor of assembling the block and that's with me supplying all the parts, sounds to much.

Re: 900hp goal! help me reach it! what turbo??
Thanks ya i dont need $10,000 for a trans lol mfactory can build me something under $2,000 easily but as for budget at first i was going for a high hp set up and i still might do it but on the side for now my build took a 360 deg. turn and things are almost opposite now, my budget was set for under $10,000 for my built motor but now my plans are to sell everything which i did and build a b series motor that is reliable like last more than 3 years strong and be powerful at the same time and plenty of power for the street so with saying that the only motor that comes to mind to me is the famous USDM ITR motor. But in order for this motor to be as reliable as can be a used ITR long block will not cut it! therefore i will buy a brand new complete USDM ITR motor from the dealer with 0 miles never ran and the same for the head i will order a brand new 01'' spec usdm ITR cylinder head from the dealer as well and will assemble the motor my self and i will mate the long block to my brand new USDM ITR trans. so to make some power out this motor i chose to stick with the JRSC but instead sold my used one and purchased a brand new JRSC for the ITR motor, in adition to aid the power output the JRSC manifold will be sent to LHT for porting and water intercooler, a custom race heat exchager will be built and anodized black to look stealth and unnoticed, the t.b inlet will be custom ported to 70mm and will mate to a 70mm t.b., boost will be set at 12psi with the pulley configuration i have. the cam setup will be a ITR ex cam and a GSR intake cam, 440cc injectors will be reused and a walbro fuel pump will still be pumping the fuel, i will reuse my comptech ice box intake one addition to the cooling of the motor will be dual thermal gaskets that will be on the t.b and intake manifold!, a buddyclub race header heat wraped with a usdm itr heat shield will be fabricated on the header and will mate with a buddy club spec 3 catback to my custom magna flow muffler.will retune at churches around april, i hope for the motor to reach 280hp which it should with no prob. and keep this motor as my dailly and possibly build a monster with this gsr block i have laying around in the future for now id like this motor to last a while before i build a race motor, one day i will just not now.

dont let nobody tell u your never gonna get 900 hp ... that is 100% possible. you just need to do everything right. you cant cheap out on anything... and be sure its only a track car, because a 900 hp street honda makes no sense to me....

Re: 900hp goal! help me reach it! what turbo??
first of all, how can you any of you say he knows nothing about building motors because he wants to hit 900hp? Obviously he does by his last b-series setup, and he just wants to step it up for supercharged to turbocharged. We all gotta learn at some point. I've dealt with this guy, he's a strait shooter and knows what he's talking about.
My cousins 1999 civic hatch makes 868hp on race fuel, and like 670 on pump gas. Totally street legal, and daily driveable. He take it out less than he could though cause he has a truck and doesnt want to rack up the miles on the civic by going to and from work.
And lastly, i've heard good things about the Turbonetiks GTK1000. i saw your post about going with a jrsc itr, but if you ever go back to wanting a huge hp car, look into that turbo.
