60mm for exhaust piping on turbo d good?
I plan on turboing my sol and will be upgrading from the stock exhaust. I plan on making about 200whp with a custom kit tuned on cromepro. I was wondering if 60mm piping would be good or should I use something bigger...I know when I was thinking about turboing my old car with a b16 I was told 2.5"-3" would be best, but I was told the d16 doesn't flow as well/as much as the b16; because it's an sohc. so if that's true a 2.25-2.5" should be sufficient right?

I would go with the least, 2.5" With any turbo setup backpressure is a issue, and freeing it up will provide sufficent hp gains.

yeah I was thinking about a 2.5" setup...it's just that most nice and quiet aftermarket exhausts only come in 60mm. I guess I could do a setup like I had on my EG:
test pipe
2.5" mandrel piping w/ magnaflow resonator
mugen style twin loop

60mm is only 2.36 inches, i'd go with at least a 2.5" exhaust in a forced induction application, even though the 60mm will most likely flow fine for a 200whp application.
