Yes, you're wrong, because they're rated for 600whp.

exactly...and alot of people have even gone past the hp rating and they still hold up fine,I dont recall ever coming across a post about a bent or twisted Eagle rod.

I was using a b&m regtulator ( a better choice than a AEM piece of crap imo) made 500 on it... BUt it **** the bed going for 650 WHP, and thankfully I caught it on thew WB before anything happened. Aeromotive is worth the insurance for the price... The AEMs are junk, and the B&M is questionable as well.....

im not running over sized valve or doing a 3 or 5 angle valve job on the head just a light port and polish.

so many people on every forum that im on have been saying stuff about the b&m reg. some say its fine it will hold the power others say its junk. Well I'm going to change it due to the reason that when the golden eagle fuel rail is mounted to the victor x intake manifold the neck on the reg where the fuel lines goes is touching the intake manifold ( I will post pictures later) I just need to figure out which aeromotive afpr to go with and im going to cap off where the stock reg goes and mount the aeromotive right on the fuel rail.

although a race ported head is a plus it is not necesary to make that goal. We have made much more than 600whp on a stock port head.

I dropped the head off today at the machine shop. They are going to install the new bronze valve guides, seat all the new valves, 7 angle valve job, port & polish & gasket match, and cut the combustion chamber to 83mm and resurface the head.
