I've been using them for over 5 years and never had a issue. My car makes a little over 700hp.

Given the amount of people that run Eagle rods, the very small handful of people with problems is not indicitive of a design flaw or manufacturing issue. Its understandable that you'd call them crap because it cost you money, but the honest truth is a single failure doesn't set the rule. Would you call Carrillo rods crap if they did the same thing?
In that 4th picture, is that the block before the final decking? The finish on the sleeves looks like a smaller endmill bit went around it in a circle. I'm not a fan of anything but a large flycutter-style deck job. Other than that, it looks like a 'big' setup. Any more details on it? You kinda need to add more info since its a tech forum, not a picture forum.
If you haven't picked an EMS yet, I'd go with either Hondata S300/Neptune/eCtune if its a street setup. They're well-priced vs. AEM, but all have gear-based boost control. eCtune is the best deal IMO, but base it more on what your tuner can deal with best.
