accord on a s300.
I have a 01 5 speed accord that will be getting a s300. Will any obd1 Ecu work or do I need a obd1 accord Ecu to put the HD in. Im basicly looking for the cheapest Ecu that will work with HD on My 01 accord with a conversion harness.

Re: accord on a s300.
Hondata doesn't just go into any ecu.
Read http://www.hondata.com/ecus.html
You will need an obd2b to obd1 ecu jumper harness.
You are best off buying the ecu with the hondata pre-installed in it from an authorized dealer: http://www.phearable.net/shoppingcar...ages-p-39.html
If you have a turbo charged application I recommend using a 4 bar map sensor if you are going to run more then 11 psi of boost. You also should consider the boost control package on a turbo setup.
Another thing to consider is that the s300 system is useless without a wideband oxygen sensor gauge kit to tune the car with.

Re: accord on a s300.
I know it can not go in any Ecu. I already have the obd2b to obd1 conversion harness. I'm just seeing if there are any better choices than a p28 or if that's it. I have the aem wideband and a apexi EGt gauge so tuning should be a little easier

Re: accord on a s300.
how about me...
I have a f23a1 converting to manual with a h22 5 speed, plans to go with a h23a dohc vtec head eventually, but for now, I need an ecu for the 5 speed swap, but would like to get one that I can use when I start my G23 Frankenstine build on my 6th gen accord?
you know so I don't have to get ANOTHER Ecu... any suggestions?
