Just a suggestion prior to ordering your synchros check the synchro hubs and sleeves. If its grinding real bad and for a long time your prob going to need all 3 parts. Thats the reason I have a spare set.

Thanks guys!! I am waiting for these to get in. The rings have already been produced..Its a matter of getting the coating done to spec and make sure that quality is the main priority. Sorry for the delays...they sold out quicker than planned!!! I will let you all know when they get in

I guess you guys dont know, but honda updated most of their synchros with carbon ones. I know this cause i work for honda... It all started due to the s2k... they had synchro problems. So, hondas fix was to replace them with carbon coated ones. I think last year i was on their special website and there was a servicenews on this. It also said that they have updated to the carbon synchros for many other models also... I know they did it for the H series, and i'm assuming they did it for the b-series trans also. You can probably go to your honda dealer and ask the parts guy to look up synchros for you and there should be an updated part # if theyre available for your trans...
I just went on their website do double checke what i just said.... Honda started doing this in 2004. Where have you guys been... LOL
It doesnt tell me what models they did this with. But it says "honda parts is phazing out plain brass synchros and now using carbon lined ones..." But like i said before, it should be obvious when ordering them, as the part # probably has been updated.

Re: (RPRacing)
i had heard about that as well. im at work right now and just looked up the bulletin. the key phrase in it is:If youve ordered replacement synchros for CERTAIN m/t models.... so im assuming if anything it mostly newer cars and perhaps not the popular B series ones although that may change. gear speed deals directly with american honda so if that was the case there wouldnt be a wait they would just have it.

Exactly... I will tell you that none of the hundreds of B series sleeve sets we have ordered have came with supposed "updated" carbon synchros. I would sell the hell out of those if that was the case. I have seen them in a few other models but, for 5th gear only. I know this game well...so don't you think I would keep my customers happy if there were other options...LOL!

No...We do know...Working for Honda doesn't make you the tell all messiah with bulletins from 2004...I knew about the change before there was even an official bulletin because we were getting the synchros direct to fix many of thier customer warranty issues through the Honda Care program.

There was no sarcasm...I told you and everyone else how it is(the truth) Don't get mad if your not always right...just apologize for some outdated information that in most cases isn't even true...but, judging by this...your reading and writing comprehension skills may be lacking a bit.
Thats a classic...e-thugs
At least get it right if your gonna talk **** and practice on that spark plug gapping

Re: (GearSpeedEF7)
I'm just going to give this info, I ordered a synchro set from Acura I have no way to verify there carbon coated but I did notice there missing a tooth like the gearspeed ones do. These were for a cable S1 because gearspeed were out of stock and I needed them ASAP. Other then that gearspeed sells great products and are very helpful with there knowledge. I personally don't see any need in name calling, help those that help you .

Thank you...We do have the early Pre 92 vtec B series synchros in stock as well as all 90-01 Integra LS models. The less teeth will designate the updated design change from Honda/Acura
