Default What if you did it all over again?

A member here made a comment that brought something to my attention. I am in the middle of my build like many others. I wanted to know from the guys who have been there done that what you guys would do different if you could do it all over again. What would you do first? last? or what would you do better/smarter.

I think this will help alot of people.

Going cheap is a short term payoff. Might be good for your wallet now but will only hurt you later.

Do it right the first time and dont cut corners. If you cant afford to do it right, then wait until you can.

If I could do it all over again, I would do just that.

I would have bought a house 4 years earlier and have had a nasty weekend sports car along with a fun daily driver.

If I could start over, I'd have a full chassis car.

I know it's a small factor but a 10pt cage first off just go with the whole thing and get it over with.

Yea thats how im feeling. I want to do it right the first time but I dont want to get carried away. On the bottom end no expense has been spared. But im starting to think maybe I should of done the cage first.

If you guys are so unhappy doing this then why do you continue?

Like Jake said I would do everything right and ***** to the wall first time to save a lot of headaches and money

I wish I had started with a tube car.

and always just get the block sleeved first time. I see a lot of people regretting that one.

Never believe anybody that says, "the car SHOULD cert just fine". I've been involved with 2 that didn't.

I couldn't have said it better. Taking short cuts now just cost you big in the end.
