Summer slam ride along Darren Barone
So its been a long time since most of you have seen my civic out there, and after selling almost all of it and being stuck with a chassis i rebuilt it better than before.
this is the cars first full pass since 2008 outlaw race. yes the hood losses some pieces lol but happy with the results for now.
This was on 27 psi boost, tried to turn it up and yielded a cracked trans case. dont mind the smoke, that was a loose breather line dripping oil on exhaust manifold.
Sorry for the loooong vid, just getting back into the flow of things....enjoy

Re: Summer slam ride along Darren Barone
this was on 26's, broke a welded housing last sunday testing and now another this sun, prolly gonna put 24.5 on just to run SFWD and have it set to run 26's come any outlaw races..
thanks for all the nice comments, just pulled the trans and looks like some pieces of the case hit the clutch so ill be needing a billet case and a clutch to get her back up and running

Re: Summer slam ride along Darren Barone
lol i love talking, whoever wanna stop by and chat im down
as for the setup, steel rod motor, roller cams, cnc head (rlz), s372 with billet wheel, BMC 8 injector big boy manifold, e85, libety trans....
boost control is done thru the m400 ecu, twin solenoid setup, done by rear wheel speed
as for power, i dont know lol, only ran it up too 25-27 psi on dyno would spin 26" radials with anything higher, that was around 750 WHP, so you be the judge lol
