Op sorry to hear about your situation. That's pretty sketchy. Hopefully it gets resolved for you.
On a side note, this may or may not be the best place to bring this up but a friend of mine owns a carbon fiber company making body parts for sprint cars, midgets, mini sprints. Spectacular work and reasonably priced. I know he could make a 3 piece front end no problem. Pm me if you would like some info or pricing.

Re: Strada Industries - Terrible Experience
anyone see that buddy club rsx wide body kit that someone posted on fb? it popped up in my news feed and had me thinking how nice it would be if a company like that made a quality 3 piece front that you could just order and not have to worry about.

Located in Tucson, Az. He actually started out making paintball gun products, then moved on from there. He has worked with Nasa on some stuff but now does a lot of sprint car bodies, wings etc etc. Has been a good friend of mine for a long time and just trying to help him expand as well as helping the Honda/racing community with a honest guy with awesome products. He deals primarily with Carbon fiber/kevlar products but can do fiberglass if wanted.

The main issue with these type of company's. Is how they over promise and underdeliver. Another problem could be is the experience of employee's doing the work. That can contribute to poor fitment issue's. I understand that everycar is going to need trimming for a proper fit. but it should be very minimal.

Re: Strada Industries - Terrible Experience
i cant speak on stradas product but personally i think the guy is an idiot. wil on the other hand is a good person, my ef carbon front fits great looks great and didnt take as long as i expected. most people dont understand exospeed is at the mercy of the body guy that actually makes the parts. its not like wil is out in the shop making these himself on a production level. these are the best front ends, quality takes time and he gets orders all day long and he is a one man army... my one experience with strada wasnt good he said he had carbon fronts in stock but could not produce a picture and since then i still havent seen a carbon ef front from him. dude is a liar and a biter he needs to get his own mind and quit copying everything he can get his hands on.

Marc P hit the nail on the head. Problem is everyone wants to come out and make a front for a cheap price but they dont have the capital to maintain a business running. So then your stealing from peter to pay paul and before you know it your belly up and the topic of every hate thread on the internet. Seems to be a treand lately with this stuff aswell as others out there. Like someone said earlier might be time to get some old school body kit companies involved they never seemed to have issues mass producing stuff

^NO, its hard to make fenders and bumpers that are even/fit right.
Problem I see in this industry is that companies don't know how budget and actually have enough capital to run a business correctly. What happens is company X uses deposit from Customer F to Pay for customer A part and so on. After a while, this will catch up to you fast.

Thank you, everyone.
All I wanted to do is show what kind of company they are. I don't want to see them rip someone else off for more money.
We have already chalked up the money in the loss column, so learn from our mistakes and be careful who you do business with!

Re: Strada Industries - Terrible Experience
...i tried to buy 2 wide fenders, no bumper, and kept on being told they are on the way...i ended up disputing with paypal and getting a refund from strata after weeks of being put off. But the refund was via paypal dispute, not him, he hung up the phone on me when I reqested a refund due to weeks of delays.
He might be a good guy, but not telling the truth is not a good trait as a business person to have.

Re: Strada Industries - Terrible Experience
I feel bad for everyone getting screwed over by these companies. I haven't had much luck with a local fiberglass company that builds monster truck bodies in having them build a mold and pieces for the front end I built. I also planned on building a 3 piece front end for my buddies 99 hatch but I'm not liking these run arounds.

Re: Strada Industries - Terrible Experience
Too many people trying to sell parts that they dont even have. Then they get overwhelmed with orders and no supply and just keep the cash because they cant meet the demand.
Why take orders for parts you don't have?? i guess people would rather destroy their business than lose out on a $500-$1000 sale??

Re: Strada Industries - Terrible Experience
from what it seems like to me (i havent delt with strada personally )
.... it seems like strada attempted to produce a product that he/they really had no idea about producing in the 1st place.
it doesnt seem like a rob peter/pay paul type thing, but a general lack of knowledge in the composite manufacturing process, which in the end sucks for everyone involved, receiving nothing but the run around for months/year(s) and a piece of **** product to match.

What really gets to me is that Strada tries so hard to report/remove social media posts and/or threads like these to hide the situations.
They would rather spend their time trying to cover up their mistakes instead of trying to resolve the situation.
It truly shows what the initial motivation is with some companies...

Re: Strada Industries - Terrible Experience
I think most people here wold disagree with that. I know exospeed has had people waiting on things but in my experience in dealing with wil, my products were always received as described and the quality was always top notch. Some times you just have to wait for things thats life. I just try to find people that will be honest about it as in saying to me "hay man Im sorry this is taking longer than planned I know I said 5 weeks but its really going to be more like 4 months" I would rather be told that and receive a quality piece 4 months later then be told you'll get it in a week and then 4 months later I get it and it's ****. My 2c.
