Default Strada Industries - Terrible Experience

I just wanted to take a minute to share our extremely unpleasant experience with Strada industries.

This may get locked or deleted, and I understand that. However, this company has ripped us off for a few hundred bucks. It isn't a lot of money, but I just want to make people aware so they dont lose even more money to this individual.

My buddy/tuner Randy @ Rstech is building a Sfwd style car out of an Rsx. He was approached by Strada for a sunroof plug, on facebook. Randy agrees and sends payment for the product. This was January 2012.

After many, many texts he sets false expectations to Randy about when he will receive his product. This goes on for 7 months. You know, the same old story, it will be done next week, next week, next week....

Finally, I make a post on Facebook about the situation in June. He responds within 2 minutes of my posting. Says that he didnt want to send an inferior product out that didnt fit well and promises Randy it will go out.
I found it extremely interesting that he was able to respond in under 3 minutes to a Facebook posting. He asks Randy to have my posting taken down. I agree to take it down, when we receive a tracking number.
He doesn't come through again.

I wait another month and make a few more comments on my Facebook post about Strada's false promises. At this point, he sends Randy a screen shot of a tracking number. I say, once the website shows that it is en route, I will delete my posts.
The tracking number never shows any movement.

So I did what most of us would do, Use the power of social media to expose all of this. I made multiple posts on facebook about this experience.
Strada has reported all of the posts and Facebook staff has taken them down.
As long as I don't talk derogatory about Strada, my posts will stay up. So I plan on making as many people aware of this situation as possible.

This may be a lot of work for $200, however I want to expose all of the lies, false promises and fake tracking numbers that he has provided on what is coming up on 9 months.

Hopefully he doesn't rip others off for even more money.

Then they should reimburse the money and make sure when there product is suitable for sale, they contact you. Simple solution which could of kept them from looking like scammers.

When will this end? Unfortunately some parts we need can't be picked up locally or within a few hours drive. This just continues to hurt the industry and makes us look bad.

My buddy has been waiting almost a year for his DA 3 piece front end. He has seen pics and it's done, they just have to finalize the mold. But they have been doing that for atleast a month now.

Thankfully for them my buddy is a patient guy and the car isn't ready yet.

Wow I was looking into a front end def not buying from here. It's a shame I don't trust companies any more and only buy parts off dead projects that are close for me to pick up. We'll see someone from this company at the track for sure!

This guy just got me for a carbon fiber ek front. He gave me fake tracking numbers, and sent me a pic of ek bumper from like a mile away. I told him to send me more pics, he said it's already bubble wrapped and boxed up. He promised me a 2.5 week wait, it's been over 3 months...

My friend had/has the same situation going on. Ordered a 3 piece front end, finall got it but fitment was horrible. Contacted Strada and was told to send front end back and another 300 something dollars to recieve the 'new' version of the front end that was suppose to fit. Bumper was sent back without the 300 dollars in May. Its now August and he still hasnt recieved the front end. Gets the good ole story "Next week/im working on it right now, etc..etc"

Whats funny is that a site sponsor had to step in because that person's name is associated with Strada. I wont name names, but there is alot of shady business practice going on.

So I guess the question is this. Is there a company in existance that can make these front ends and have them look good, fit well, and ship out within one months time? I prefer the way the exospeed front looks. Between them and strada not delivering I may as well spend the money i have been saving and make my own!

Seems like a lot of companies that make 3 piece front ends are aiming to go out of business pretty soon

Every time i look at my car i get pissed... I wish i never would have bought their 3 piece front end. It fits like sh*t and one of the fenders are miss matched. I too was told to send it back and they would fix it, but after seeing bad things posted i opted to kept mine and run it.

This stuff is rediculous. It got to the point where I considered starting my own fiberglass front end company, but ended up working out a deal to be a stocking distributor for Exospeed. As long as Will comes through, I'll have all Honda applications on my shelf within a week or so, and then I'll only sell what I have here, no foolish deposits or false promises.

If it doesnt work out, I know what business I'm starting up next!

I was thinking of ordering a 3 piece front from them as well late last winter after I put the build on hold, and now I'm glad I decided to wait and do some more research with other companies. Now that I am back working on it, I have been looking elsewhere, as I have been hearing too many horror stories from this company.

Is it really that hard to make fenders and a bumper? Why do all these companies suck?

Maybe these companies shouldn't take anymore orders until they get their current ones taken care of.

^NO, its hard to make fenders and bumpers that are even/fit right.

Problem I see in this industry is that companies don't know how budget and actually have enough capital to run a business correctly. What happens is company X uses deposit from Customer F to Pay for customer A part and so on. After a while, this will catch up to you fast.
