I could've swore we took pics of the girdle after notching, but I can't seem to find any! What a shame, Kevin did a beautiful job on it. It is quite a bit though, like DaveF said.
We made a bit more progress today -
Intercooler is mounted, endtanks are finished, rear diffuser plates finished, downpipe & dumptubes are finished, hood is cut, and aluminum beauty plate fab'd up. We probably won't get time to work on it anymore until next week, but I'll try to get a few more pics up this week.

I believe they were actually closer to 600.00 for the set, but I'm not sure if there is a different price for inventory rods vs. custom rods. These were custom.

Sick manifold!
The aluminum rods are a blessing....I am so excited to see more Hondas running them. We have used them for years with great success!

We only get 1, sometimes 2 days a week to work on it, so it's taking longer than we'd like. As soon as possible, hopefully it'll be up and running at the end of the month.
We are supposed to get our dogbox in at the beginning of July, but we plan on putting a stock trans in it in the meantime.

Oh, ok. Thanks Myles! We all sacrificed unbelievable amounts of time, energy, and money to build this car. We actually had to sell a few cars just to pay for the tranny alone! It's worth it just to be able to see the car everyday, though!
How's your ride doing, by the way?
beat starts......
"bling bling, everytime we come around your city, bling bling, tranny alone's worth about 50, bling bling, bogarts on mickey thompson tires, bling bling........"

so that same night i let a "Girl" drive it down the track a few times.. i was like dont worry about breaking it if anybody is gunna break it its gunna be me... yeah that was a mistake... chick did a full on 3>2 shift.. bent all 8 exhaust valves and cracked 6 valve guides... i thought that was it so i changed the head and putt it all together and it had a rod knock ... check out the pics of the #4 rod bearing on my thread : https://honda-tech.com/forums/showth...2564039&page=6
the crank journal is actually still good from what i can see.. So im going to pull this motor out and buy this other stock gsr motor that has B16 pistons in it... can you say high comp stock block 400+whp
