We wanted to start a build thread as a place to document the progress as this car is being built.

We were hoping to have it completed in time to make it to the 3 west coast BOTI events (Sacramento,Woodburn,Fontana), but at this point it looks as though we won't make Sacramento. Hope you guys enjoy it!

Here are the current build specs, which may change slightly as we progress. I'll keep this updated as changes take place.

Engine:
Golden Eagle sleeved B18C 84mm
Arias Pistons 10.8:1 w/upgraded wrist pins
BME Forged Aluminum Rods
ACL bearings, Calico coated rod bearings
AdvancedStreetPerformance (ASP) Ported B16 head (300+cfm)
Chambers opened to 84mm
Ferrea 6000 series valves
Ferrea valvesprings & retainers
Skunk2 Pro1 cams
Ported OEM GSR oil pump
Golden Eagle IM
Blox 76mm TB
Fluidamper
T1 Koyo Radiator/Spal 13" Fan/Aluminum Shroud combo

Pistons and rods.



Cylinder head w/chambers opened up to 84mm.

Nice Valves!

Cylinder head w/Ferrea valves in.

Checking piston-to-deck height.

Checking side clearance.

Definitely have to notch the girdle for clearance!

Dropping in the pistons/rods.

Degreeing in the cams.


 
 
Mock-up motor in, ready for fabrication.

Working on the chute mount.

Chute mount installed.

Sumping the tank.



Manifold/turbo placement mocked up and tacked together.

like the manifold. have to talk to you guys about welding up the manifold im makeing for the S2000. I can tack it up but dont have a tig so boooo.

James, you guys have done alot of great things in the past few years.. One of the best quality Performance shops I have seen in years. Probably the best Aftermarket Honda Performance shop in the NW IMO. These guys are on point and make sure to get it done right the first time. QUALITY!!

Thanks. That brace is just for mock-up though, the real brace is underneath. I'll post pics of the finished product.

Thanks, and I actually already started the D16 build thread over in forced induction.

How much material did you have to remove from the girdle so the rods would clear ?
