Rodney actually got in a pretty bad motorcycle accident (he rides dual sports) a couple weeks ago. He's in a neck brace for 6 months. Shoot him a line if you guys get a chance:

Here's some good ol nostalgic scans...
Hey Ron, remember when Dr. Charles skid off the track at Buttonwillow during the race and in typical Dr. fashion, instead of getting back on the track, he just off-roaded the thing clear across to the other side to take first place LOL. (Check out Steph in the lower right corner)
Here's some of Project Beta when she was still a Road Race Queen

I saw him at Formula D in October, he's loving the RC car stuff! I plan to visit him down at HPI one day and check out the full setup

Alot of you "Kids" under the age of 30 that think you are the ****.... Might want to take a step back and look athis post... Most of you were not even driving when we started this Import craze.... I know I use to go to the street races and remember some nights Stephan Papadakis didnt bring his car out... I would ask him "So where is your car at?" His reply would be.. "My mom wouldnt let me take it out." I then replied "How old are you?" His answer... "16"... Thats how "OG" some of us really are....
Alot of us have been doing this since the late 80's... Before some of you have been born.. Respect US!!!!! Cause if it wasnt for us, there would be NO you...

i just got my license yesterday. Mom took away the PROFWD car though because I came home 10 minutes after curfew. I got stuck at the arcade so she locked up the Mazda with my bicycle chain.

C'mon now, get real. Respect is earned, not asked for.
Nothing like a bunch of old timers talking about what they did back in the day.
Certain people that really were something back in the day are known for what they've done, and most have continued to excel and are still very well known today, they have earned respect. You don't hear any of the big names from back in the day walking around talking like that....

You are right Tony... But alot of us didnt want to be in front of the camera.... You cant forget that.. Hotshot Performance (Me) had an LS powered 1st gen integra that made 267whp All Motor.... On Javiers dyno.... ALOT more than anyone had ever seen.... Then Javier had his Guaranteed to slip cam gears on the car... so the motor turned into dust.... At the time, nobody would work on the motor cause it had Aluminum rods... Even Jurt at KG didnt know what Tom Jung and I were doing... But Rodney believed in us.. And in 97 12's All motor was the ish...
.. Today some All Motor guys wished they could make that hp to the wheels... Just think.. OG??? Yeah I am OG... Split Second Racing ... For Life!!!
