Proper Way to Maintain Slicks
I've done some searching and found nothing about maintaining Slicks. Is there Any Special Procedure involved in this or do I just take them off after the track and throw them in the garage?
Thank You
Corey

same way you store any racing tire.
Throw them in a garbage bag and store them in the dark, away from direct sunlight.
This prevents ozone and UV light messing with the rubber compunds.

don't let slicks stay on car with weight on it, don't leave slicks in storage standing up.... makes dry spots on slicks and helps cracking. a no no with slicks. Armor all isn't good for the side walls either.

yep , we do also(plastic trash bag) but we were told don't leave standing upwards. its like doing a burnout and dragging the e-brake too much. it supposedly puts dry spots on the tires. Where were you guys in Sonoma? Ryan from Revhard and i , Eric from Cookie Graphics read the post and did not see Sadistic racing tow vehicle there or car. we were curious to see some more H-t people and meet them.
