Which PLM Header?
Hi All
I have a B18C Type R which is currently being built to be a nice high comp engine. I am in the market for a new exhaust header and I think I've decided on going with PLM. My car will be built for mostly 1/4 mile racing on both street and the odd track. Which of these PLM Headers would people recommend?
I know the first one seems to be very popular but I am not sure if it is the best for my set up so I need your advice?
1. Private Label MFG Power Driven B Series 4-1

2. Private Label MFG B Series Tri-Y Big Tube Header
https://www.privatelabelmfg.com/prod...b20-header.htm
3. Private Label MFG Power Driven (TA) B-Series header(4-2-1)
https://www.privatelabelmfg.com/prod...-ta-header.htm
Thanks

Re: Which PLM Header?
I actually have an email in to plm right now asking the same question. My car is a track only 14:1 comp play car that makes over 240hp.

I would choose this or the hytech replica. I tuned a built 1.8 with 13:1 and pro2 with a stock b16 head and it made 220 hp 150 tq on the hytech replica. hope this helps. the collector on the first one is tiny and the primaries are pretty small

I probably should have given a bit more detail regarding the build as it wouldn't be that high comp (I want to make sure that manifold isn't too big for my set up)
I will be in the 12's comp wise.
B18c Type R
Skimmed Head/Block
Mugen intake
68mm Skunk 2 Pro T/b and inlet manifold
Skunk 2 Pro 2's
81.5mm Wiseco Forged Pistons
Skunk 2 Megapower R (70mm) Catback
Would this set up be too small for the manifold you have suggested?
I will need it just for 1/4 miles
