Re: OaksRacing - Many thanks to Full-Race & Turbonetics (JERK dis H22a)
Over the weekend we mocked up the intercooler, boost pipes and mounted the bumper.
Cutting the Buddy Club front bumper. We will take pictures of the bumper again in about 1 week. It will be much different.

Re: OaksRacing - Many thanks to Full-Race & Turbonetics (OaksRacing)
Sunday the engine was pulled - PFI is building a totally different set up that Brent and Steve Jr. will start on this weekend.
Sunday night we brought it to a friends garage to paint. Straightening up the body and adding some light metal flake.
We are gettting the wiggins fittings welded to the turbo and BDL throttle body tomorrow. The the boost pipes and intercooler need some additional welding.
Its always close, but we cant wait to see everyone in Arizona.
We still have some tranny issues to overcome. We just sent our 3d tranny to gearspeed to try to make one good one. We have been putting together our own trannies with what we had which didn't bring very smooth shifting. I drove the car myself at the last Denver event and I don't know how Jr was able to get through the gears. Tyler H was kind enough to send some parts to help us out. We will keep posting the progress until Arizona.

They race year round here in Georgia. It was 70 degrees in Valdosta 2 weeks ago. Suppose to be 70 degrees here in Atlanta today.

Damn, I miss ATL! We just got dumped about 4 inches of snow today up in WI, with more to come!
BTW, that's one huge FMIC!

The BDL throttle body will mount up nice with the larger boost pipes and the vacume spacer will make it easier for vacume supply.
BDL cam gears have served us well for 3 years - these are for the new engine.
These are AutoMeters new Sport Comp guages
Here is a unit we are really looking forward to trying out on the Prelude. Check out their website. http://www.advancedinjectiontechnology.com
We will get some more pictures posted over the next week.

Hey Steve, Autometer will only pay contingency on the Nexxus gauges in 2006. Better figure one of those in somewhere in all of that.

Steve Sr., you were racing at the last event?? Was this the discount tire bandi race? I could've sworn it was Steve Jr.

I drove it at the Pepsi event - It was a private event for Pepsi employees - we have a friend that works there. I had a real problem getting into 3d gear - its amazine Jr was able to run with that tranny as bad as it was. Gear speed is changing the Selector hubs for 1-2 and 3-4, 1st and 2nd gear along with syncro's.
This was one of those unplanned problems. I ran 11.2 at 137mph it was awsome for an old school rear wheel guy.
