Thats pretty cool. I haven't heard or seen anything of this car that I know of. Would like to know more about it as well.

In his class? FIP, no, cars in that class have gone 8's. Car clearly has lexan windows and a ton of weight reduction. Definitely doing work for a single cam and that time is awesome, but the lexan windows and weight put it out of other classes (true street, super street, and street fighter).

The car looks like it has a speedfactory sticker on the windshield. Why not just PM them as they are a sponsor with the thread link and see if they provide information. I know there are several of them that post here from the shop.

I love seeing this, because I'm sick of people saying that single cams are no good, swap your engine, not worth the work bla bla bla, You could swap engines, but the entire point is to do something like this, to put people in their place, I wish I could find the video of Johnny O running in the tens with his 3rd generation Accord hatch, stock block and head, he ran some insane amount of boost, and that was a single cam that went out of production in 89. You dont do this because it's easy, you do it because you can!!

I'm not sure if this car would fit FIS rules. It is the quickest/fastest d16.

I can tell it has a straight axle and a 1 piece front end both of which would disqualify it from most common classes right now besides some sort of FIP or Outlaw class by IFO rules.
