Default Minimum ET For Heads-Up Classes at WCF

Minimum ET Requirements for WCF Heads-Up Classes:

Outlaw vs Extreme: 7.50 and quicker cars only
Radial vs Modified: 7.99 and quicker cars only
X275 vs Hot Rod: 8.50 and quicker cars only
Street Fighter: 8.99 and quicker cars only
Super Street: 9.50 and quicker cars only
True Street: 9.99 and quicker cars only
All Motor: 10.99 and quicker cars only

In an effort to keep the Haltech World Cup Finals for the best of the best, help reduce down time, speed up the event, and to provide the spectators with the quality show that they have come to expect at the Haltech World Cup Finals, we have implemented a strict Minimum ET policy for all Heads-Up classes.

This Minimum ET policy has been put in place and will be strictly enforced in 2014. Only proven cars that have met the Minimum ET requirements above will be able to make qualifying attempts at WCF. If your car is not a proven car that hasn't met the Minimum ET requirements above then you will not be permitted to make any qualifying attempts at WCF no matter how big or small the team is.

This policy is being implemented to avoid any accidents, clean-ups, and help avoid down time from a car that is now proven or has had enough track time yet. Please verify the class you plan to compete in and that your vehicle has been as fast or faster than the Minimum ET requirement for your class.

If your car has competed at a previous Haltech World Cup Finals event and your vehicle met the minimum ET (that is in race results) required for the class you wish to participate in, then you are in the clear to qualify at WCF.

If your car has never participated at a Haltech World Cup Finals or you didn't meet the minimum ET requirement from a previous WCF event then there are a few different ways you will be cleared to qualify at WCF:

#1- The vehicle is a known car that has met the Minimum ET requirement and the WCF staff authorizes you to compete based on the car's known performance. A multiplication factor of 1.54 will be used to convert cars that normally run 1/8 mile for us to get your calculated 1/4 mile time to make sure that your vehicle meets the Minimum ET requirement for your class (you will not need to make a 1/4 mile pass before the event).

#2- The driver emails video proof to the WCF staff by November 1st showing the car meets the Minimum ET requirement. This video can be from any drag strip. Imports need to email video proof to luiscorujo@paradiseracing.com and domestics need to send video proof to jmiller@mirdrag.com for pre-verification.

#3- If you have no video proof or your car is not a known car that has met the Minimum ET requirement then you must participate in the Early Bird Test Session at MIR on Thursday, November 6th to show that your car meets the Minimum ET requirement during the test session. If you do not meet the Minimum E.T requirement then you will not be permitted to qualify at WCF.

There are no minimum ET requirements for the Index classes. The minimum ET requirements are only for the Heads-Up classes.
