Thanks for the comments guys
The gears will be direct oem replacement, and will utilize the stock oem parts. For those wondering why we changed to straight-cut for the 3rd/4th gears instead of the semi-helical that we originally planned, it is because straight-cut allows us to utilize the biggest tooth profile without affecting the fitment of the gear (i.e as mentioned, we want them to be direct replacement). 2nd gear will still be semi-helical though, as we will be using the oem mainshaft.
1st: 3.070 (already available). This is optional.
2nd: 2.000
3rd: 1.430
4th: 1.100
FD: 4.050 (already available). This is optional. If you don't carry enough speed, the oem 4.4 may be better.
For pricing, we are still aiming for circa $1.5k-$2k for the gearset. We won't have anything concrete until at least the test sets are ready next month

Yup, thats controlled with your right foot when you let off the gas
Can't really go into the specifics, but the gears are carburized, shot blasted and cryoed. Oh, and most importantly, forged

Pay attention to the key words Ryan.

Re: (rota92)
Most SFWD guys (the fast ones at least) are moving towards dog boxes. So I guess well have to wait and see who ends up using these gear sets and what they end up running with them.

Re: (Antilag)
so you still have to use the oem main shaft and counter ? or will you be producing replacements for these as well ?
i dont see the benefit, if you do not plan on producing new shafts.

You will reuse the oem mainshaft. For the countershaft, this depends on if you change your Final Drive or not.
The benefit is, a lot of people are breaking their gears, so we are offering gears that are stronger.

Yes, oem parts
We are aware that some people are also stripping their mainshafts, but the number that we are aware of at the moment is very low.
This is an item we will be working on though in future
Edit: We are also aware that some people are having bad luck with their syncro hubs/sliders

But I bet those people run faster, shift quicker and spend less time out of acceleration than those using OE type or unmodified set ups... That is, up until those issues with "bad luck". Thats what its all about, those little things that make the difference. Sometimes those little things wear out quicker than others. It doesnt mean its a bad part or product. It just means it has a short lifespan (as do a lot of race parts)
