Looking for help when cutting hood for up pipe. What's best tool. Technique
Of course the average person thinks "round whole saw bit"
But how does that do with a painted hood and the paint ?
The entire webbing is already cut of my hood
Just wondering the best tool to use. To not chip or destroy paint or hack it up
Any tips / pointers. Or whatever you can to help me not absolutely destroy this
Also best way to make the whole a perfect fit
Not sure if I'm doing oval pipe or tear drop Either one will be bought from sheepey as I have his manifold
Posts pics or whatever you feel can help

If you put tape down over the area that you are cutting out. when you cut the hole it will not chip the paint. the tape holds the paint in place.
