Too much power can actually be a hindrance when it comes to hooking up a small tire or the prop of a drag boat. For anyone with this “problem” the Programmable Launch Limiter is the answer. This microprocessor controlled Limiter plugs in place of an rpm module in an MSD Ignition or Soft Touch unit. You can then go in and program a launch-based rpm ramp based on rpm and time. This is set in 100 rpm steps down to 0.001-second increments by using MSD’s Pro-Data+ software on a PC or with the optional Hand Held Monitor, PN 7550. There is also an adjustment that sets a delay time before the rpm limit activates. This way, when you launch the rpm limit will kick in exactly when you want it to and ramp up to your race rpm for the rest of the run. This Limiter can be used with most of MSD’s Ignitions or Rev Controls (except the 7AL-3 and 10-Plus) that use the plug-in rpm modules. The Pro-Data+ software is supplied.

The M4 kit was originally purchased through Motec USA by Jerry Woods Enterprises (World Renowned Porsche Race Car Builder). The Motec harness was then modified to “Outlaw Spec” by T1 Race Development in 2009.

I have a b16 head fully done over. combustion chambers have been spotfaced to 84mm, and polished chambers as well. Full port and polished and cnc'd to flow 285 cfms. Has full supertech valve train. Bronze valve guides. Springs and retainers have only dyno session and 15 passes down the track. Valves are inconnel .5 over for the exhaust, and .5 over stainless for the intake. Intake valves are perfect with no leaks at all. Exhaust valves however leak very slightly in 1/2/3. 4 is good. But i have a brand new set of valves for both intake and exhaust valued at over 250!. unopened in the package. Whole package with new valves for 700.00 plus shipping! (no cams included). I went 9.33@167 with this head! Upgrading to roller rocker setup. My loss your big gain!!
