hi boost and low boost
I was wondering if you can go from low boost to hi boost when the car is already picking up speed or does it have to a complete stop before you switch it

It's controlling boost. Not shifting a t-case from the mid 80's into 4wd.
Do some searching. Your answers are definitely out there.

How about if its on racefuel. Am asking cause i wanna take out in and do a 1/4 and dont want to launch it on hi boost cause i think might burn out much longer and i wanna get to get traction. Doing it with no slicks

you have to take the turbocharger off, spin the wheel backwards 3 complete turns, make sure you don't turn more than 3 times or you will have to install the turbo again and drive for another 500 miles before you can attempt to do it again. make sure you put oil in it when you spin it backwards. depending on the type of boost controller you are using electronic or manual you can switch it however you want.
which EMS are you using?

Get a Hondata ecu version 2 or 3 with boost by gear. For what you are talking about you can assign how much boost you would like in 1st, 2nd, 3/4 gears. Its a $500 investment and a decent tuner. The end.

Re: hi boost and low boost
Your boost by gear is never set constant, you will need to change it at every track, and you will need to play with it to get things dial in to go faster. So if you want faster times you need to dial in your boost by gear and whatever other options you have with your ecu.
