Default gato manifold for all motor?????

im just looking to see if anyones tried this manifold for a all motor b-series. i personally think its too much volume for all motor but i can be wrong. ive searched around and cant find any write ups on anyones whos tried it. only reason im considering this is because i recently lost a rod in 4th gear whitch caused me to crash into the wall and decided to go back to all motor. my plans are to build a 300hp b series whitch im confident i can do since i built a 281hp/195ft pnd one before i went turbo.since i still have my intake mani from the turbo build i figured it might be worth a shot but dont want to waste my time either so looking for some input from anyone who has tried it or something close to it........... any feedback will be greatly appreciated

a little info on my plans for the build
ported head flowing 300+cfm
pro 3 or web cams
14.1+ compression
stroked with either a 95 or 98mm crank
big bore ect ect

ipg used one in their 86x95 b-series motor. that motor made 280ish i think. for 300+ i think you'd be better off using Kinsler ITBs.

My old motor made 277whp on a dynopac 3000 and 313whp on a dyno com. I was using a victor x and a Dh-Racing 83mm tb. My new motor should be well into the 3's old one was 86x95 13.1 new one is 87x98 16.1

The black bubble is an A/M B series motor that runs on the high 10's with a Gato Intake. there's couple of videos of this car running on grs-motorsports.com like page 15+. The car is very impressive it full interior, full glass. You should contact Gato for more information they will be glad to help you 1-407-943-7300

Since you already have it, just give it a shot and if another intake makes more power, sell it!

If I was building a 14.1+ com & stroked with either a 95 or 98mm crank I would be using itb's with some kind of hoop scoop going into them ,but that's me

thanks guys alot of good feedback, when i made the 281 i had an edelbrock as well thats why i was unsure if the gato would be too big considering the edelbrock worked great. itb's are great but im not a big fan of those scoops so i was actually looking into the kinsler intake manifold with a q45 throttle body if i decide to sell the gato.Anyone on here try that manifold yet? from what i seen on their site it looks like an awesome design.
