Sat night qualifying would be great, it gives everyone a chance to fix broken parts. Especially us east coast racers!

LOL.
I'm in and i'll swap turbos with anyone at the track if they like. My turbo for your 7285.
I do think the whole situation is funny though. Vegas is a long way to go and if someone has a turbo you don't have it definitely wouldn't be worth the time.
We should make it a two day event. 1 day for tech and crying and 1 day for racing.

who am I missing? We still need to discuss the lexan/fiberglass guy - yes or no? I say do away with the lexan/fiberglass, but it's what ever you all/the majority want. Is it really that hard to change out though?
I will contact each of you mid next week for deposits, so set aside $300. That will be the deposit amount. $200 balance to be paid in cash at the event. If you can not make the event, your $300 stays in the pot. Racers from far away are counting on that payout to justify their travel.

Your still missing Jimenez and possibly Kubo? Unless I read the Kubo thing wrong. Also looks like somebody else from Texas is coming out with JJ and T1
I could care less if Warren has lexan and fiberglass doors. As long as he's 2400lbs he's still moving the same weight.

Where did the 102.9 exducer rule come from anyways? I am pretty sure I know where, lol.

Just so I'm clear is this year’s E98 crying is going to be about "non-commercially available" turbo's?
It's wild crazy to think that turbo manufacturers would have racers they partner with run and test turbo's that aren't proven yet to gain data and feedback from them and their setups to make their products better. Then even crazier to think they won't sell these unproven custom units to the general public or other racers whom they don't partner with until they are solid units that will be improvements across the board over their currently available line up. I mean it's not like people would trash their product if they sold them a custom unit that didn't work in their application as well as it is or isn't for a different one. The guys that partner with that company wouldn’t just send the turbo back and work with that company to make it better right? And that company doesn't want to make money by selling products they make, they are just in business to help a few people.
If you don't want to run Miller or Tony just say it. Their cars are badass! They are fast, but it isn't just some magical part that does that. It's work! They both work their *** off to run as good as they do, they test and test and test! They try new **** all the time a lot of it doesn't work. They live it they breathe it! I'm not saying the rest of us don't because I know everyone talking about this does. Some are on the same level and you see their cars coming around all the time others are slower to come around and it's simply because of the level they can do this on. So if you want to be on the highest level make the sacrifice. Do what you have to do to have the money for it, the time for it, grow the partnerships! None of these guys are where they are because they didn't sacrifice a lot.
Last thing Cliff can someone show up to this race without a deposit in already and pay the buy in at the track and race? If so is the $500 enough or should they bring extra for not having a deposit? If I can swing it, I'll be there.
If my vote counts for anything I'm cool with Kevin Warren having aftermarket rear doors and lexan windows in those rear doors. 2400lbs is 2400lbs anyway you stack it!

Bring a hot rod car, minus the wheeliebars, lol. 2400 lbs helps level the playing field.
Lets race, I want to run Franklin's 8 second machine in Vegas!
