Thanks alot I appreciate it. My favorite part has to be my chromoly crash bar..its the exact same dimensions as the oem one. I wanted some safety and something to mount my fmic to and my boy welded it up for me. I used the ac line on firewall as a spot to mount the catch..no wiretuck will be done but I will clean up the harness some..i like things to be clean and functional..the paint is Eastwood extreme chassis black...takes a pounding to all possible fluids that may spray.

In order to do it right the first time you should've sleeved the block.

I agree I should of sleeved the block..but the orignal turbo i had was not this big i was going to use a garret t3/t4 60-1. I was looking for maybe 420 on pump and thats it. Just made the change a few weeks back.we will see what happens.either way it will still move. DSS axles will be in the car by the time WCF 2012 starts.

Don't waste your time with css Block guard system pay a LITTLE bit more and get a real block that can hold 900+ hp no problem.

I just decided it was probably smarter to use the 6000 series valve if I was building the head anyways. Btw seen Dynotuned in your sig, you in the midwest?

The Ferrea competition plus series of valve comes in a flat face, maybe he went with them.

Ferrea competition plus series valves do not come flat they come dished. 6000s from a metallurgy standpoint aren't any better than a 5000. 6000s are lighter because they are dished, and in most applications have a back cut where 5000s do not. But on a B series, none of them have a backcut. The Competition plus has the inconel material for high heat in the exhaust side

I'm just going by what I was told when I ordered my valves. I ordered the 6000 series but was told I could get the flat face in competition plus if I wanted, but they were significantly more.
