Built H22 Quest for potential across the board, ITB's?
Looking for advice on Size and if/should my DW 420cc Inj.'s carry/full potential for setup? So like always looking for most potential but also keeping in mind like I did the reason I chose Pro1's instead of Pro2's.
SwapShopRacing.com
TWM Induction Individual Throttle Bodies with aluminum air horns : There is 50mm, 52mm, and 54mm... Or if Someone has advice on better ITB setups that work well in both Performance an DD.
I'm upgrading Exhaust from Header back to 3" Mandrel, a 3" resonator and 3" K-tuned turn down, ITB < doing research. I have always hated how long the S2 IM runners were. S2 still does not support H with there Ultra race manifold and to be frank I will probably only ever buy there cams and valve train again.
I'm gonna get 2 tunes one for premium pump daily, and one for Torco Fuel additive for the hustlers! Lol
My setup Currently:
Engine:
ACT 250hp rated 6 puck clutch, I did a quick easy lap it feels great.
Bisimoto 8.9lb flywheel
Stock H22a4 crank
BC sportsman forged rods
Wiseco 11.5.1 88mm forged shelf pistons
KS balance shaft del. kit
new OEM oil and Water pump
Gates Timing belt.
OEM manual timing tensioner
Head PnP by me. just read an researched, capitalized on what was there pretty much.
S2 pro series Valves, springs, bases, Ti retainers.
Ferrea valve locks were not used, I ended up grabbing a set of Genuine OEM locks.
Ferrea Valve seals
S2 Pro 1 cams, pro adj. cam gears.
S2 74mm TB, pro series IM
TD-61U obd1 Dizzy with Rywire prelude obd2-obd1 distributor adapter re-routes crank sensors from oil pump to Dizzy
DeatschWerks 420cc high Imp. Inj. 255lph fuel pump.
P28 Hondata S300 Phearable.net basemap made for upgrades to get me to tuner.
Bisimoto - Custom stainless V3 4-1 header.
Inividia 2.5" catback exhaust.
SRI
Golden Eagle sleeves.
Initial Base dyno tune Made 230 // 170
You can review see my build here:https://honda-tech.com/all-motor-nat...-prel-3250872/
Idea's? Thought's? Suggestion's? Are always appreciated Mahalo!
Also where I'm at now judging what you think is still left to pull out of her, and how will these upgrades affect the powerband possibly? I have read ITB's will respond better an give across the board action.

Until these k series guys started coming around making 250hp or more on stock **** w/some bolt ons and ITBS, my rule of thumb was you HAD to have 12.5:1 compression or more for itbs to be justified. Then I started working on Euro cars, and seeing these 260-600hp factory n/a cars with amazing drivability, and just plain silly power all over the power curve, I told myself everything needs itbs. Enough ranting, to answer your question, I have seen most itb setups loose a little down low, due to the sudden snap, but who the hell puts around with itbs? theyre meant to be pushed and pushed hard, and with a quality setup such as TWMs on your engine, id say you have great potential for a little more power across the board, and id assume the power would be where you like to play. Hope this helps

Oh boy.
Where to begin. If you are trying to size the ITBs rightly for your setup, you have quite a lot to learn. There are many equations to calculate the many aspects of an ITB setup. Good luck trying to find all of the equations, it took me months of hard searching, with the help of GhostAccord, to finally come to partly grasp how to properly size ITBs. Your best bet? Tell Kinsler your setup and have them make some for you. The reality is, if ITBs aren't made for your setup or one similar, you are most likely not going to be happy with them. And I can tell you right now that anything less than a 54mm throttle is not going to work for a 2.2L unless it is very close to the head.
Actually, skunk2 does make the ulta series manifold for the H series. All you need is the K2H adapter plate. I happen to have one for sale

Great info thnx I think my tuner is competent n living in hi weather is really constant not to many variables. with the three inch header back upgrade and either witch doctor concoction or torch fuel additive I'm going for 250. I feel itbs would be the faster route but they do come with cons. Contacting kinsler good idea. Thnx. I'll stay posted for other comments.

Torco* and all that would obviously be with a re tune. I'm aware it leans out with DIY race gas n such.
