Dude are you kidding...go get your car. And someone get ahold of NHRA and get One-sixxs Green hatch relooked over cuz I gaurantee that one is even worse than Jamie's. For how much I don't like their "crew", it's still somebody's life that's on the line. This whole situation is just rediculous. I'm sorry you had to go through with this Jamie, it's bull crap.

Wow. Horrible horrible horrible. Onesixx can't even weld, tune, or build cars. They are a general repair/muffler shop called National Muffler and Brake shop which is owned by the One Sixx owner's father. Why the hell would you trust a general repair shop to do your NHRA 8.5 cage? That in itself is just mind boggling. What have they proven is what I would like to know? 9.99@148 don't prove anything. What most Wis peps is saying And what ive heard is about their 9.99 car is: Tune was done by a guy in New Jersey or so(most their tuning done by outofstate guys or other local guys for crome/uberdata etc). Turbo system by a shop called beeyond engineering. Engine most likely built by a machine shop. Tranny probably a tranny shop. Cage was probably done by a cage shop. Nothing was done there at NMB aka one sixx to say the least. There's a few shop that can really weld in the Wisconsin area. Seen some done by king that is decent and a few turbo kits and cages done by beeyond that was simply perfect. And there's other muscle car cage shops as well that would've done perfection for you. Wow is all I can say. Just be careful who you go too. Make sure there's a proven record not fakes. My 2 cents.

One-sixx is a crew along with a muffler shop. Cee had the green hatch last year. A guy from Texas tuned the car, but then Cee claimed he retuned it for more power. Then he traded/sold to Kyle. (Another Crew Member) They took the head off to get port and polished (I'm assuming they took it somewhere) and bought some other misc things. Then THEY built the cage for Kyles (green hatch). That cage got certified the same day as Jamie's (Hduced) car did after it got turned down at Speedquest a couple weeks prior. This is where it becomes a little questionable. We all know and have seen what HDuced cage looked like. But what does Kyles cage look like. I'm looking out for safety, because the work we've seen them do is far from the right way to do it.

Something fishy went down at One-Sixxs shop went the NHRA guy came to certify some cars. For people's safety, I think that it should be looked in to.

Damn, sorry to hear what happend to you. You should of gone to Beeyond Engineering. They are a great shop and knows what they are doing. They got pictures up on their facebook showing their welds and cages they built. One-sixx do got some fast car, but the car that makes them famous is Tony's GTR which btw gets tuned by AMS and not one-sixx. Their Honda fast but nothing special.

Heh I'm in Milwaukee so I know all about this "shop"... WI doesn't have the best options for shops and tuners, King is just about the only place I trust around here and they get my business. One Sixx's cars are off the shelf parts using setups that other people use that work... yes a 9.99 sec car is fast don't get me wrong... but it doesn't impress me when it is all parts they took off the shelf of their muffler shop and from Blackworks and especially when they aren't tuning it themselves. There's nothing that makes the drag cars "original" or their own... just any old high budget parts slapping fest.

Yes king does some nice things, but i have yet to be "wowed" by any of there cars. I know they arent a "drag racing" shop, but there outlaw car last year was far from impressive. 712whp on a 72mm turbo on 25-30psi of boost, and running mid 10s. I like king, but if your in wisconsin and want to make power...id contact Curt Miller at DTP out of madison. Hands down the best in the area for getting your car tuned.
