Also I love how one-Sixx lied to me. Nobody ever told me their cages in their cars were built by another shop. The plot thickens. By the looks of the welds the welder is deft not certified either.

If I'm not mistaken the rear down bars have to go to the floor now as well not to a "strut" type bar.

I didn't post pictures to show off anything or prove anything I'm just sick of my name and car being brought down for no reason. I said my cage was different and it is different. I have no say or in anything with any customers cars like I stated I don't work there. The owners are my family. I never even seen jamies car being worked or done as its not my business. My business is racing my car guys as I will and run good times. And jamie for you to say you'll run through anything we bring it out is just mind blowing can't wait to ssee that man! As for "tp" I gave u the true story that I failed ttech for not having the middle bar going down to the floor. So I changed them and bolted AND WELDED them in just as he asks I paid forthe fees just as anyone else did. The car passed and I showed you guys why. I'm not defending anyone or saying anything bad just showing facts about my car and this whole hes 19 **** is really ******* annoying. Have a goodday and good racing season everyone I'm done with subject!

As a welder that makes parts in this industry... those welds are just bad... the ones on the floor plates.

Every single point that was made just went right over your head. No-one here blames YOU for anything. Only your inability to recognize the **** poor quality of work being done. You jumped in this thread with what purpose? To back up your "family" in defense of said **** poor quality of work that was performed. Also, the deal with YOUR cage being brought up is the fact TP certified your cage AND the first cage of the OP( that was not even close to passing cert)and then again, FAILED for the 2nd time with a better but still sub-par cage. Mean while , from your pictures, your cage shouldnt have passed either. Your D bars are wrong and your door bars are definitely too low. So its completely relevant to recognize a problem with the person doing the certifications on these incorrectly built cages. Your age is a contributing factor, you have not been around this stuff long enough to even grasp the importance. Ive been around this crap for over 15 years and have watched cages go from one standard to the next in a very short time period. An improperly welded cage can turn a car into a friggin death trap at 100+ mph. This is no f'in joke. You come in here, acting like your going to "defend" this shop, when in reality, If I was your age, I would find another shop to be associated with. There are some serious racers on this forum and some of them have replied in disgust. Yet, you knock it like, "they be hatin". Get a clue man. smh

It's not that you're 19, it's that you're 19 and a typical 19 year old who knows very little yet thinks otherwise. Not entirely your fault, unfortunately the importance of experiences comes with, well, experience... very little of which you have.

In for the cage guru to do his thing, I love seeing the old timers work their magic.

You are correct but a lot of tech's will let that fly from what I've seen, I've had a guy come down here before and he straight out said he wouldn't pass it like that.
